My color combination was inspired by this week’s Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge (PPA259).  Check out what the rest of the PPA resident artists dreamed up with these colors and play along here.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • I wrapped a candy bar with a Real Red stripe from the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack.

  • Cool discovery!  I used the Stampin’ Up! Neutrals Envelope Paper (one of My Favorite Things from the Stampin’ Up! annual catalog) for the base of the mini treat bag (kraft).  The lighter weight is perfect.
  • The “enjoy” die is also from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies.  Look at all the possibilities!

  • Love those curves.  The Pacific Point shape was created with the Lots of Labels Framelits Dies.

    • Thanks, Lynn. The Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies easy to work with and such an awesome value . . . it’s like getting the bag die plus oodles of punches (the remaining dies)!

      • yes…I used the magnetic platform, the two SU acrylic pads, designer paper and the dies. I have 4 different acrylic pads because 2 are more worn out than the others and I have switched out all the possible matches of the four. I use the thinet dies all the time and have never had a problem, but I have tried it with the treat bag one more than a dozen times now and can’t get it to feed through!

        • If you purchased them through me, please drop me an email, [email protected]. If not, please follow-up with either your demonstrator or demonstrator support (if YOU are a demonstrator). Sounds like it might be a defect and Stampin’ Up! is so good about replacing.

  1. I love your gift bag! I am really curious as to what you wrapped up to put in it. It looks like a candy bar, but it looks larger than that! Care to share? Thanks!

  2. This is so cute! I have been having a problem using my die. I have it all sandwiched properly with a sheet of designer paper, the die, metal pad, and 2 cutting pieces…and it won’t fit through my Big Shot! I must be doing it incorrectly!

    • Hi Charmaine: Thanks for the feedback the website. I wanted something very minimalist but still conveys my “tulip” brand. Brian and Nicole Watt of Integrant Services made it happen. I’m so grateful for their talent and energy! M
