- The butterfly was cropped with the Stampin’ Up! Bold Butterfly Framelits Dies (new).
- I then cropped the butterfly using the “thanks” Greetings Thinlits Dies.
- A Whisper White “thanks” was inlaid between the top and bottom pieces of the butterfly. Love button, right?
- The animal print background was created with the Stampin’ Up! It’s Wild background stamp (new) and cropped with the second to the largest of the Lots of Labels Framelits Dies (new).
- The perfect touch was Silver Metallic Thread (new) randomly looped below the butterfly for a fluttery finish.

Thanks, Carol. I’m finding the designer series paper to be our best selection ever. This “wild” paper is one of my favorites!
Wonderful card, Mary….love the animal print!
I love the idea of “embedding” the thanks sentiment Mary. Very clever.
Thanks, Liz. I hope to experiment in much the same way with other shapes (circles hearts).
Mary, Mary, Mary I LOVE the inlaid ‘thanks’ on the butterfly! Absolute perfection! Thanks so much for the fabulous idea!
LOVE the look!!
I sure appreciate your comments. Makes my day and motivates me for a new project!
Thanks Mary!!
Thank you, Nicole. I added adhesive on the card (below where the butterfly would be placed and wound each loop of Metallic Thread, sticking it to the adhesive where the loop started and finished.
Your card is beautiful, what do you use to secure the thread so that it keeps your design in place?
Thanks, Kelly!
