Simple shapes evolve quickly into this graphic congratulations card with colorful elements from Stampin’ Up!
My design idea was inspired by this week’s Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge. Discover what the rest of the PPA Resident Artists have created with this sketch and play along here.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- My color choices and geometric design for this congratulations card were inspired by Stampin’ Up! Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper.
- I used Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper for the large circle (cropped with a 2 1/2″ Circle Punch) and the envelope liner.
- The perfect polish! The envelope liner is a snap with the Stampin’ Up! Envelope Liners Framelits Dies. You’ll want the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine and Magnetic Platform for the best results.
- “Cheers” was cropped using the Greetings Thinlits Dies, one of My Favorite Things from the Stampin’ Up! 2015-2016 Annual Catalog.
COMING UP: I’ll share a 1 Minute to WOW! Video Tutorial tomorrow with a closer look at the Stampin’ Up! Greetings Thinlits Dies and how to get the bold, 3-D look on today’s congrats card.
