Stampin’ Up! In Colors. How Do They Compare?

stampin up in colors stampinup mary fish stamping stampinup

I shared this video recently providing sneak peeks of the new Stampin’ Up! In Colors.  However, I think it’s also helpful to see a comparison to existing Stampin’ Up! colors and get a better feel as to how they fit into the Stampin’ Up! color line-up.  The new colors will be available for purchase in card stock, designer series paper, ink, markers and more on June 2 in the 2015-2016 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.  Need a catalog?  Click here.

Watemelon Wonder is a beautiful coral red.  See how it’s more red than Calypso Coral and more pink than Tangerine Tango.

Cucumber Crush is a pure kelly green, amazing with Real Red for the holidays.  It’s brighter and crisper than Wild Wasabi and Old Olive.

stampin up 2015 2017 in colors delightful dijon

Delightful Dijon is a rich, golden yellow/brown.  It’s much darker than Crushed Curry and Hello Honey and will act much like a neutral when mixed with other colors.

stampin up 2015 2017 in colors mint macaron

Mint Macaron (named after a French meringue cookie that comes in many colors–not the coconut macaroon) is a chameleon and can look either green or blue, depending on what it’s paired with.  It’s much more green than Pool Party and Lost Lagoon.

stampin up 2015-2017 in colors tip top taupe

Tip Top Taupe is the brown/gray stone color that many of us have been hoping for.  It’s darker than Sahara Sand and more gray than Crumb Cake. Looks stunning with the other four new In Colors and beyond!

COOL TIP:  For those of us that like the ombre effect of layered, like colors, these color comparisons can be inspiration.

  1. Thanks for comparing the new in-colors! I would like to make some of these. How did you get the name of the color across the butterfly?
