Gay Lynn Morrison, today’s guest stamper and a member of my Stampin’ Pretty Pals Virtual Community, created a gorgeous clean and simple card using the Stampin’ Up! Flower Patch Stamp Set (sentiment) and Birthday Bash Specialty Designer Series Paper!
GAY LYNN’S TIP: I think the paper piercing tool is definitely an underutilized tool that can make a big difference in a project. It’s one of the very first things that I bought as a new demonstrator last summer and even I’m guilty of not using it as much as I could in my projects. Next, I want to try sewing one of the patterns based on a March Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Thanks, Maria. I notified Gay Lynn that there were challenges with leaving comments on her blog. I appreciate the heads up!
This is a very elegant card, simple and beautiful. The colors go great together and the paper piercing is a very sweet detail. Thank you for sharing Mary.
Mary, I tried to leave a comment on Gay Lynn’s blog but, for some weird reason, it didn’t allowed me. I’m so sorry, I hope she comes here again so she can know her card is truly beautiful.
I love the colors and simplicity of this card. I agree piercing adds a lot to this card and we should use it more.
I love the simplicity, too! Paper piercing is one of my favorite “go to” techniques because it is so easy.
