I’m smitten over the Stampin’ Up! photopolymer (clear) stamps, especially the Snuggles & Smooches stamp set. I used it for the funky little background (heat embossed in white) on today’s simple Saturday card.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- Let’s get started with my inspiration–this adorable dress (Boden USA) and even the model’s red lipstick got my creative wheels turning!
- The die cut “hello” (Hello You Thinlits Dies) was adhered to the Real Red layer with just a bit hanging over. I love how it “floats” over the Whisper White when Stampin’ Dimensionals are placed below the Real Red layer.
- A single Basic Black Candy Dot (Neutrals Candy Dots) accents the corner and balances the space.
- Adding a piece of wax paper between detailed thinlits dies (like “hello”) and card stock before running it through the Big Shot really helps with removal.

Hi Mary,
I just love your card today. I am a fan of red and I think it really makes this card look great! Do you know that now you have me thinking about cards every time I look at our Lands End Catalog! Every time a pattern or color combination catches my eyes I start imagining cards, ever since I read one of your posts a while back. Lots of inspirations. But I have to say, you really nailed it today with this one. It looks so neat next to the dress! You have a very unique style. I like it.
