2. Balloon Bash (p. 11).  Party on with plenty of fanfare and bling!  Dress these stamp images up with Birthday Bash Specialty Designer Series Paper and Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim.

4. Painted Petals stamp set (p. 19).  Simply beautiful and luscious for layering!  Painted Petals stamp set coordinates with Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper and Painted Blooms Cotton Twine.  Watch this Stampin’ Up! video HERE!
5. Sheltering Tree (p. 22).  Change each season and show off the fabulous font and sentiments.  This set is in photopolymer (clear),  my favorite for easy placement!
6. Big on You (p. 24).  Big and bold sentiments are a hot trend and this stamp set evolves into a quick card a snap!

8. B.Y.O.P. (p. 33).  Let?s face it.  When giving gift cards, everyone is happy (and no returns hassles).   B.Y.O.P. (?buy your own present?), is a charming way to deliver a gift card with a dash of panache.

10. Sophisticated Serifs Photopolymer (p. 44). Before you say ?whoa, Nellie? on the $45.95 price tag (remember it?s 65 stamps), think about the possibilities that will make this photopolymer (clear for easy placement) alphabet stamp set a tremendous value. Mix and match two sizes of letters to create words, whip up a stash of monogrammed note cards for quick thank yous or produce custom note card gift sets.

  1. In my opinion, these products definitely go the distance, Jane.

  2. Jane Schroeder

I’m just getting started and need to buy so many things but I am thankful for you showing me products that are worth the money.

  3. Hi Laura: Favorite embellishments include the Sweet Dreams Designer Buttons (p. 29) and the Painted Blooms Cotton Twin (p. 37). I think Lotus Blossom will be the top choice for Sale-A-Bration but personally like A Happy Things stamp set (p. 19) because it’s so retro and fun to color with Blendabilities! M

  4. I have plenty more products from the Occasions Catalog so your favorites may be in that list. It’s so hard to narrow it down. Sure appreciate your feedback. Sorry if a little “enabling” went on for you! Happens to me all the time!

  5. What a wonderful comment to share, Angie. You started my morning cup (tea today because I have a bit of a cold) with a smile!

  6. my picks for stamp sets ….4 out of 10 -cheerful critters, sheltering tree, crazy for you and painted petals
    tools…5 out of 5!!
would be interested to know what your favorite embellishments are and also which of the SAB items are your favs!

  7. I, like Cindy, only chose three of the stamp sets – painted petals, sheltering tree and crazy about you. However, although I only currently have be od the tools listed (hello you dies), I had the happy heart TIEF folder on my list for my next order (it wasn’t available when I ordered previously). However I’ve been eyeing the mini treat bag framelits and I think your video has just added the bow builder punch to my list as well! I have a feeling that the butterfly framelits may just fall into my card also!
Thanks for your blog, I read it daily, even whilst in Spain to learn Spanish!

  8. Just wanted you let you know I really enjoy your daily blog. It’s the first place I go in the morning when I get my cup of coffee. Love the Pals Blog Hop also. I am an independent demonstrator also, but I do it for my own pleasure. I feel like I know some of you from your blogs. It’s been fun! Thank you, and all the others, who take the time to share their passion with us.

  9. The cheerful critters cards are darling! And the epoxy stickers are the perfect accent for them. Of course using the envelope liner is the best finishing touch. Loved it and thanks Mary.

  10. Would love to hear what 3 sets you (or anyone) liked from the list and/or what sets you choose instead!

  11. Wow! Mary. It is amazing how different people have different styles. I only chose 3 of the stamp sets you chose and only one of the tools. Guess that is why they have such great selections for all of us! Thanks. Cindy Bailey
