  5. Debbie McClain

I make 100 cards each year (and am on my last 20 as we speak!). Most are given to my church family, where they’re distributed by our youth each year. The rest go to cherished family and friends and get mailed around the second week in December.

  6. I haven’t been sending as many as I used to…. but I used to wait until like a week before so that people wouldn’t have time to send one in return out of obligation. Once things calm down a bit, I might start sending earlier so that people can enjoy displaying them longer.

  7. I send my Christmas cards in January with a family photo taken at Christmas, when the entire family is together.

  8. Kathy Rittler

I love to make these seasonal cards. I will send them out this coming week with a brief note.

  9. I only send out 10 cards and they get sent the first week of December. I also hand deliver 12 cards to a group of my friends during our Christmas party.

  10. Kathy Rittler

I love to make these seasonal cards. I will send them out this coming week with a brief note.

  11. Kathy Rittler

  12. Cards go out the second week of December.

  13. Dina Swindler

I only do close friends and my brother..if I am lucky. Never was good at keeping address or asking for address. Everything is email or texting. I don’t have my friends physical address written down. So usu all I fill out my cards don’t have their address and than think I will deliver them and some how that never happens :/

  14. I send about 50 cards and I have them ready to address the weekend after Thanksgiving (I better get started on that!). Then they go in the mail.

p.s. Thanks, Mary, for doing this little question thing – I love reading everyone’s responses!

  15. I send cards the first week in December.

  16. I always say that I’m going to send out cards, but for some reason I never get it done. I have a large tote full of beautiful Christmas cards that I’ve probably had 7-8 years.

  17. I mail some of miy cards the 2nd week of December and I hand deliver others throughout the holiday season at various gatherings.

  19. Please excuse the typing error. – should say my. Oops!

  21. i usually send my cards out around the 18th or so. would like to be one of those people who sends them out dec 1st but i just don’t think i’m built that way. 😀

  32. I try to get my cards in the mail by the second week in December, and the rest are given out at Church about the same time. I do nearly 60 cards and they are all handmade – I’m about to start on this year’s ones, I am running late due to family visits.

  33. I send my cards out the second week in December by mail. But the ones I deliver by hand I usually give out the third week.

  39. I send mine out based on zip code. Usually I am later than I want to be, so far away zipcodes get the first batch. Theoretically, they all arrive before Christmas.

  40. Anytime after Thanksgiving.

  41. I have them all made, have to address them yet and hopefully will get them out in a week.

  42. I send my cards when I get them all made. If it is a week or so into December it is OK because so many of the same folks just received a Thanksgiving card. I love making cards!

  43. We try and have our cards in the mail by December 15.

  44. I switched to writing Christmas letters this year, which are still in process, but I do decorate them with stamped images!

I will mail the 60 I made tomorrow…Monday Dec 1. I am leaving for NYC on Tuesday so need to get them in the mail.

  53. I love sending Christmas cards and try to send them out the first of December. I am ready this year, yeah. I have tried do make more one or two layer cards so they are easier to mail but still add special touches.

  65. I send my cards around the 15th of December. What a great giveaway!!!!Thanks Mary!

  66. I try and send by zip code…furthest ones first. No matter how many I have made, I am always scrambling
to make more at the end. It’s all fun….why I stamp in the first place.

  67. I have certain family cards that I mail the first week of December and then I send return cards to those who send me cards throughout the Christmas season.

  68. I try to send mine around the 18th but last year I was late and they went out Christmas eve!

  69. I haven’t finished making my Christmas cards yet, but in past years I have them made and out in time for them to arrive before Christmas. It’s a busy and creative time of year.

  70. I like to send them the first week of December, just to be on the safe side, the USPS has it’s many hands full this time of the year so, I want to be ahead of the Holiday rush.
You will be getting yours soon, Mary. 😉

  71. I send out my cards the first week of December. I make them all year long to have about 75 ready by then. I love making Christmas cards!

  72. I will mail my cards by Dec. 15. I better get moving, because they aren’t ready yet!! Thanks for giving us this chance to win!!

  73. Hi Mary! Happy Belated birthday. I send mine out about ten days prior to Christmas. Thanks for hosting this event.

  74. I send my cards about the second week of December or whenever the pile of finished cards sitting on my desk gets annoying–which ever comes first. These last two years I’ve used cards made in classes or samples. Sure made November much easier.

  75. I try to get them finished and in the mail by the middle of December. I send about 30 cards….starting to make them today.

  76. Usually I get them sent out the second week of December. I’m especially excited to send them out this year since it’s the first time I’m send out handmade cards!

  77. My goal every year is to get all our cards in the mail by December 15th, sending them out daily, and I start with the ones going to other countries.

  78. About two weeks before Christmas Day.

  79. I try to complete my cards in August as we are always out of town from mid September until near the end of October. When we return it seems like the holidays are immediately upon us! They will be mailed around December 10th.

  80. My cards are sent the second week of December and since my hubby is a mailman they get delivered right away! I love sending my homemade cards and knowing how much people enjoy them. I love receiving cards whether homemade or store bought because it shows they took some time out of their busy lives and thought of my family.

  82. I make about 180 cards and try to send them out no later than mid December!

  84. I send them out by the beginning of the second week of December.

  85. My cards are stamped, but since I hosted Thanksgiving dinner and finished up with a couple of rooms in my house with renovations this week, and I will be celebrating my 34th wedding anniversary this week, my cards won’t be mailed until the first weekend in December.

  86. I really enjoy making my cards and try to start getting them in the mail the middle of December.

  87. Patti Hutchinson

I usually hand deliver my cards. I need to start making them!

  88. Haven’t sent them in years. The season is stressful enough without that hassle. Guess I’m a Scrooge when it comes to cards. Bah! Humbug!

  89. I enclose letters written for the recipients with almost all of my Christmas cards, so they are mailed over a period of the first two weeks of December. Then I happily wait for the news I receive from many of my friends!

  90. Cards are delivered around the 2nd week of December. I make at least 100 starting in late August.

  91. Just make a few for very special friends and family– they are hand delivered.

  92. I try to send the first week of december

  93. All 75 or so cards, some with letters, go out around December 5th. All are handmade and each one is different. When I am making them, I always make two of each and donate one of each to a charitable organization. Doesn’t seem to take much more time to make two than it does one.

  94. I try to get them out the first week in December. I send 50 out and hand deliver some.

  95. The majority of mine go out the weekend after Thanksgiving. We send about 250 cards with a family update to friends and family throughout the world. They go as far as Japan and as close as our next door neighbor. I love Christmastime and the sharing spirit of the season! Thank you for sharing!!!

  96. I only send out a very few to far away friends around the middle of the month. Then I give my cards to everyone else with gifts or just as I see them. Many of my family and friends have stopped mailing cards.

  97. The first week of December

  98. I have to send them– I made to many. They will go out next week before I leave for Fl.

  99. “If” I am organized I start mailing them on the 1st of December. I usually am still mailing cards, photos and a Christmas letter up to 3 days before Christmas. I send close to 100 cards and try to make them all myself if time allows.

  100. Stacey Carter

When I send cards they go out a week before Christmas.

  101. Carol Cloutier

I usually mail my cards the first week in December, I am almost done making them so I will be on time this year, usually I make and send around 50 cards.

  102. Rosemary Smith

I will send out a few with a nice note in them to my far away family and friends. With Facebook and all the social media there is today, it is easier to keep in touch all year long.

  103. Betsy Johnson

I aim for mid-December to mail our handmade cards, but may try the January idea tjis year so I can include a photo of our Christmas happiness! :0)

  104. Most I deliver in person but the ones i mail I try to have out by mid December.

  105. Lisbeth Lampert

My cards go out in separate mailings that coordinate with the timing of Hanukkah and the celebration of Christmas. This way all of my friends know that they are thought of in a “timely” fashion. 🙂

  106. Janet Swofford

I try to get my Christmas cards mailed by Dec. 15 at the latest assuming I have all of them finished! Thanks for the chance to win!

  107. Haven’t sent then in several years. But will this year, since I can afford the postage. They’re all made and will address them soon. Then mail them after the first of December.

  111. OOOH ….. BOY , I might not need MONEY under the tree after all , what’s under the looks good all ready !!!!
    Lol……
    Hugs Frenchie,

  112. I send a Christmas letter – not cards; although this year may be different — we’ll see 🙂 It never fails but that I’m down to the wire every year, no matter how hard I try. I’m running to the post office on December 20th trying to get everything out before it’s too late LOL Maybe this year will be better! Here’s hoping!

  115. My cards are normally sent out 2 weeks before Christmas.

  117. Marcia Butcher

We usually send them by the 10th of Dec.

  118. Marianne OHara

I send my cards the 2nd week in Dec. Every year it seems the list gets smaller, but I know that some of my friends keep my cards because they are handmade. My Mom, one of the most frugal people you could ever meet, recycles them. Even to the point that I have gotten back one that I actually made for her!

  119. I try to send them every year, homemade of course! Ends up being early to mid December!

  120. Nancy Farrell

Hi Mary, I send about 60 cards and half are hand made. I try to mail them by December 20. I seem to work best under pressure. I always liked handwriting the cards, with a note and the address. I caved in last year and put my addresses on clear labels. This should help this year. I’ll still put that little note!
    🙂

  121. Kimberly Quitta

I try to send out card around the 2nd week of December. Fingers crossed, that happens this year!!!

  122. I send less every year. Try to get then out by 12/15.

  124. My cards are made early, sometimes even in the summer. They were addressed and letters written a week or so ago. They are ready to go now, I usually send them the first week in December. This is so much fun to have the chance to win these terrific supplies!

  125. As soon as I get them made ?

  126. Addressed them yesterday and plan to send them out this week!

  127. I send my cards out in early December to those living the farthest away and mid December to those living near. Looking forward to a card swap with fellow Stampers in mid December

  128. I try to get them out during the second week of December.

  129. Our cards and letters go out the first of December. I also send out more as we receive from someone that I had not included on the original list especially if they send a letter or a note telling us about them. Thank you for the opportunity to win a gift – what a fun way to begin December!

  130. I send them out on 1 Dec.

  131. My Cards are mailed either the Wednesday before Thanksgiving or on Thanksgiving day if I get near a post office; a tradion I started when I was married 34 Christmas’ ago. For the last 10 I have sent handmade cards. This year is was a total of 76 sent.

  132. Elaine Harrison Lane

I make what seems like a million and mail by December 20 th.

  133. Karen Tramuta

My target date is the 10th but I don’t always hit the target!

  134. Mid December but this year I am doing a New Year’s card instead of Christmas.

  135. Plans are to mail them the 2nd week of December, wish me luck 🙂

  136. I send my cards out in stages – family first during the first week of December and then to friends the second week of December….but of course this is just a plan and doesn’t mean it happens this way.

  137. I just closed down my crafting sales for the year and will start on personal Christmas cards on Monday…. but it would go faster if I had that wonderful Watercolor Winter Card Kit and stamp set!!!!

  138. cindy smithers

I hate to admit but I am kind of a last minute gal. I don’t send many, mostly to family and chosen friends. Thinking about this I better get a move on.

  139. The cards I send by mail, always are in the mail Dec 1st. Hand deliveries happen at various times during December. Since I was introduced to Stampin’ Up in 2001 I have handmade my cards.

  140. Hi Mary! I mail cards the second saturday. At work, I hand them out the last day I work.

  141. Micheline Lueken

Wow, I’m the same number as I was yesterday. I usually hope to get my cards mailed out during the first week of December. So I better get crackin’.

  142. I usually make around 100 and get them out as soon as I can- usually mid Dec. I”m behind this year!

  143. I have an idea for my cards but in my typical fashion, I have not started them yet so I can guarantee they will go out prob right before Christmas, I usually make between 40-50.

  144. I plan to have them in the mail by Dec. 15 if not before.

  145. i’m making my cards right up to the very last day ? I always tell myself that this year I will start early, but it seems time just flies by.

  146. I mail my cards around the 10th of December, 40 of them…all hand made with love

  147. Monique Cuthbert

I start stamping in October but don’t mail them until the first week in December .

  148. I try to do them the first weekend in December and mail them after that. I used to send out about 100 cards, but a lot were work related for my husband. Now that we are divorced, my list is a lot shorter!

  149. The list gets smaller and smaller each year. Our church sometimes has a Post Office. When my hubs was a pastor, we would assembly line do store bought cards ready for members to make sure we didn’t hurt anyone’s feelings. I enjoy making cards and have started making some card fronts to put on a Christmas tree sometime. Thank you for the fun, Miss Mary. It is fun reading all of the comments:)

  150. Charlene Brummitt

I usually get them out around the second week but not sure I will make that deadline this year.

  151. We send around 50 cards each year. I have collected about my Stampin’ up supplies so just have to find to the time to make. Hopefully this week!

  152. I make my own Christmas cards and try to send them by Dec 15. I am finishing up the cards now, I usually make between 50 and 60 cards

  153. I hand deliver to co-workers and mail to family by the 15th.

  154. Beth K. Mills

I am always later than I want to be getting Christmas cards out! They usually go out the week before Christmas, just ahead of the packages being mailed!

  155. I do send holiday cards. I will be sending them out first weekend in December. Merry Christmas Mary.

  156. Linda Pittman

Because I have two grown children, they usually have me make Christmas cards for them, so my cards are usually sent at the last minute!

  157. It has been several years since we have sent any. This year will be different because we have a new baby! Hopefully I can get them out by the second week in December!

  158. I don’t mail any cards after Dec. 25th! Happy Advent Mary!

  159. I start sending them around the first week and continue until all are finished. Sometimes it takes till the week of Christmas.

  160. I have made my Christmas cards since I began stamping about 10 years ago. I usually mail a little late but about the 3rd week of Dec. I do a few Happy New Year cards just in case I am really late. Hope you had a wonderful birthday, Mary!

  161. I do send cards, not as many as years past but cards are still are huge part of my holiday celebration. I make all my cards, the cards I mail go out the week of December 15th. The balance are hand delivered all before Christmas Eve.

  162. I try to send my cards by the 10th of December.

  163. I try to get gifts (we don’t live near our family) and cards in the mail around Dec. 10 … packages always get out the door no later than that … but cards are sometimes much later!

  164. I make all of my holiday cards and send them about the 10th of December (though they’re all addressed and ready to send before that date!).

  165. Sometime between the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. Always aim for early but sometimes run late. This year they will be mailed on 12/8, after our holiday open house because they are DONE. The fact I started them the first half of the year most helpful!

  166. My cards all done addressed & stamp on them ready to go Dec. 1st. Yaaaay!

  167. I try to have my cards in the mail by Dec. 15th, but that doesn’t always happen!!

  168. Wow, Wow and more Wow – this Blog Candy gets better every day!!!!
I will start sending out my cards this week, hope everyone enjoys them, each handmade with each one in mind!!

  169. I send them when I am done making them. Usually that is a week before Christmas. I always vow to make them earlier and then I can send them earlier but that never seems to happen. I work best under pressure.

  170. My cards are “almost done” — I have made about 150 cards but still have a few special ones for my Wednesday Stamping Group friends. So I must have those done by Dec 16 because our annual party is on the 17th. Our cards still have to be signed and the annual Christmas letter written by my husband. He has actually begun! I am usually waiting to the last minute for him to finish that letter. This year we hope to include the very exciting final news about the adoption of our three grandchildren. They are living with our daughter and son-in-law and we hope to have the adoption finalized and that info in our Christmas letter. Today I hope to have the cards all addressed. I would love it to be able to send out the Christmas cards with the date for the adoption included.

  171. Try to have them in the mail mid December, but sometimes have to do a quick stamp-a-stack to get them out by Christmas.

  172. Sometime during the second week of December.

  173. As soon as they are finished! Hopefully next week.

  174. I send about 40 cards out and usually not until mid December because I procrastinate. I want to make a card this year for the first time and know what I want to do but have not even started yet. I think I may need a big kick in the behind to get me started.

  175. I’ve never really sent christmas cards.

  176. Wow! After reading the comments I don’t feel so bad that my cards are usually late! I also LOVED the one that said she makes a set for her ex! Thanks, Mary Lee

  177. My mother was a postmaster for 21 years, so “mail early” was a mantra in our house, so I generally have mine on their way by the 15th (which stretched “early” as far as Mom was concerned!).

  178. I will send my cards out tomorrow. First time I’ve had them ready so early!

  179. I am a procrastinator, and always want to find the “perfect idea” online, so they are usually sent out the second week in December (with any luck). Everyone loves handmade cards, so if they are a little late, it’s usually okay.

  180. I make hand made cards, of course, and send them mid December.

  181. Twelve of my girlfriends go to a weekend get away every first Saturday in December to make our Christmas cards. Once I get back off, they go. We have a great time.

  183. Made them all this year so will mail them out next week. I usually send them friends oat of town so need the extra mail time! I so enjoyed making the cards. It kept me out of the stores & in the holiday spirit!
    Lovin’ your blog, Mary.

  188. I like to mail them out the second week of December, and hand deliver those close by the week before Christmas.

  189. This is the first year I am sending cards and I even made them. I will send them out this week:)

  190. I have about 20 more cards to make on my way to 85! I try to mail them by the first weekend in December!

  191. Well, of course the answer is “as soon as I get them done.” I try to have that happen about 2 weeks before Christmas.

  192. I send them out about the 10th of December. Last year the card was an MDS picture card, so easy.

  193. I definitely send Holiday cards, and they usually “go out” the first week in December! 🙂

  198. The first week in December.

  200. All my cards that pertain to that month (holiday, birthday, anniversary etc) All go out the first of every month.

  201. most years I send the cards around the 10th of December. I make all of them and send about 60

  213. Chris vanKoeverden

    Sometime mid December

  214. I usually end up sending out my cards the third week in December or even the week of Christmas, which is really sad because I make my Christmas cards during summer break! (I work at a school and December gets very busy so I’ve learned not much gets done until Christmas break.)

  223. I mail out about 30 cards to friends and family who don’t live near me. They will go out around the 15th of December. I love making my cards! That’s what stamping is all about!,

  224. Well, I USED to send them out shortly after Thanksgiving with a hand-written newsy note. Now I am lucky if I get any out. I am thinking of doing them as “Christmas in July” until I retire!

Usually take them to club members and mail them to friends and out of town folks by the 15th of December.

  227. After we manage to get the two munchkins smiling with eyes open and the fur baby looking at the camera. It’s harder than it sounds!

  228. I put my Christmas Tree up the 1st week of December then send the cards the next week–Christmas has come so early this year it seems but I am going to enjoy the hoidays!!

  233. I mail my cards 10 days before Christmas others are included with presents.

  234. I make about 25 every year and then send them as I get ones from others in the mail. Every year I say that I am going to make an address book so I have a master list, but haven’t done it yet. Usually they get sent by Dec. 25th, but sometimes it ends up being January.

  235. I make 125 handmade cards every year and I send them out on December 1st. I like to let people enjoy their Christmas cards as long as they possibly can. Just as I like to enjoy the ones I receive.

  241. Linda Riesgraf

I typically send my handmade Christmas cards about a week before Christmas. I even mail them to people I see regularly. The cards are usually pretty labor intensive (a labor of love to be sure), and I wrap each one in tissue and mail in a protective envelope. Mind you, they are nothing to win awards, but friends have told me that it’s become a tradition they look forward to each year, as they carefully unwrap the tissue to see what I’ve come up with this year.
I just finalized my prototype for this years card yesterday….so I’ve got some work to do in the next couple of weeks.

  242. Selina Kilpatrick

We have sent a photo card every year since my husband and I were married 24 years ago. Each year it gets harder and harder to get the kids together for the photo. With two in college we usually don’t get the picture until the week before Christmas. It’s always a race to see if we can get the cards in the mail before Christmas day!

  243. I aim to have them ready to go by around the 10th of December or thereabouts. Don’t always make it, *grins* but that’s what I shoot for!

  255. Sharon Williamson

I try to get mine sent out by the second week in December. It doesn’t always happen but I always send them. So far I’m a little behind, well…a lot behind! I haven’t made any yet. Time to get going, huh? Thanks for a chance to win blog candy. Fingers – and toes – crossed!

  256. I send them out when they are ready lol. Always before Christmas because sending your Christmas cards after the holidays. Is just tacky Imho. Usually the 10th. Oops gotta go make Christmas. Cards! Thanks for the chance to win.

  257. Peggy S from OH

i try to have them out by the 15th.

  258. christine teske

  267. I have given up on sending holiday cards. I was never good at doing it consistently so I stopped.

  268. The sooner the better…1st week of December.

  272. I send about 65 cards out usually the beginning of the 2nd week of December. I don’t decorate my house or send cards until after Dec. 5 (my son’s birthday), have never thought it fair to him to get “birthmas” gifts. He’ll be 34 this year and no longer lives at home but it’s tradition!

  273. I deliver many in person with gifts – those that are too bulky to mail. I usually get them out the week of Christmas, not too early, not too late.

  274. I send about 60 cards usually the first week in December.

  275. Kathy Torres Hernandez

  279. dona Stallworth

I seem to get cards out later every year! But I do send them out. I followed a friend’s rule of thumb one year and sent them out on January 6th – Epiphany – the last of the 12 days of Xmas. There have been sooo many great samples this year I already have a plan for which ones to case.

  280. Mine go out late……I have MADE cards to mail as late as Dec. 20. I may do photo cards this year.

  290. Jeannie Chytil

I start working on ideas in August (anticipating the holiday catalog! ;-)) but really ramp up production by early November. I need 50 by the first Saturday of December, as my husband’s family reserves the church hall to get all the extended family together to kick off the holidays! Then I make another 100 for other family, friends and office folks. I try to have them all mailed by Dec. 20. I also make some New Year’s cards in case I hear from someone new, I can still reciprocate!

  291. In the mail by Mid December. Have a friend that sends out ‘Thankful for you’ cards in November to lessen the December busy-ness. Always liked that idea, but never accomplished it.

  305. I retired last year and got my Christmas cards mailed by the 2nd week of December for the 1st time in 40 years. For the 4 years prior to 2013 I mailed New Years cards because I was always so behind until the 25th was over. This year my cards are going out on Friday 5th. Whew!

  306. I prefer to send them out with a family photo, but sometimes it is hard to get everyone together before the holidays, with one out of state, one in college, and such. (I have 6, now all adult, children.) This year, one got married in Oct. This allowed us a photo op of everyone together! So, in answer to your question, it just depends on when I get that photo! I always try to get my Christmas cards made and mailed a week or so before Christmas. But I will admit, sometimes they go out for the New Year!

  325. Cards were in the mail on December 15th but then I went into retail.. try as I might I could not get them done before Christmas so they turned into New Year’s cards. We still do a New Year’s card but a bit more of a challenge since I have been making them.

  338. Christi ONeil

I try to send cards going to other countries by the first week and the rest by the 2nd week. Don’t send as many as I used to.

  339. Card making is two fold for me. I think about the receiptiant while making my cards. They are my gift to those that live so far away from me. Who doesn’t love getting a card in the mail (not email). The 2nd thing about paper crafting is that it’s my “therapy”….. The thing that keeps me sane. I love the time I can spend tucked away from life in my craft room. I love your videos! Many of my creations started after a quick lesson from Mary!

I usually send out my cards by the first week in December. This year they will be late because of my leg injury. I have several made already and plan to do more today. Hopefully I can get all the ones for mailing done. Then I can work on the ones for the 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and 3 sons & their wives.

They are made with extra love to help keep them warm…

  373. My cards are sent out the week before Christmas. (If I get them finished by then :-}. My problem is I have a great idea, gather the supplies, begin to make them and then I find another card I really like and try a sample, then another and another and it keeps on going until after Christmas! Wish I could just stick to one design or two at the most.

  374. My handmade Christmas cards are usually sent out the 1st or 2nd week of December.

  375. nancy littrell

I Love making cards and receiving cards, so mail out about 40 by mid December besides giving trays of cookies with tags for friends and important people like our man in brown and mail lady 🙂

But everyone I send them to loves them so much

  394. This will seem odd but since I make all of the cards that my parents, grandmother, and aunt and uncle send to their friends (about 100 cards), I am so tired of cards that I send zero. Sad but true. I mail that box of 100 cards to my mom in Tucson around the first of October and she distributes to my grandma and aunt and uncle who live nearby. That way they have plenty of time to mail them out to their friends.

I have a couple of birthdays mixed in there so I try to make a snowy or snow flake card that will double as a winter themed and birthday card. I made a bunch of cards last year, but didn’t send them. I got an early start this year, so I have plenty. Most of them are going to friends around town, but the cards I made for my mom I’m hoping to send out pretty soon!
Thanks for the chance to win some fun stuff!

  527. I try to have them out by the 15th. This year I have only made one to send to the hubby in his care package. So I’m not off to a very good start. 🙂

  528. I personally deliver most of my cards but those that have to be mailed go out by Dec 10th.

  529. I send out a few very special ones by mid-December. The Stampin’ Up Christmas products this year are fantastic!!

  722. Cheryl Hughes

I send my cards the 2nd week of December.

  723. Mid-December…must get them finished soon!!

  724. I send my cards whenever I get them done. One year they ended up being Happy New Year cards as I never got my act together in time for Christmas. One way or another I always send them every year. Can’t wait to make this years idea!

  725. I send out about 85 cards. I try to get them out by the 15 of December. A few get hand delivered but most go in the mail.

  726. I don’t send out a lot of cards, and I must confess that the ones I do send are often when December is half over. I’m going to try and do better this year.

I try really hard to get my cards in the Mail BEFORE Christmas, but the last couple of years it has been after. ?

  732. Chick Alizadeh

I send as I get them done, some before Christmas. . . but mostly in January and Feb.. I figure people get so much mail over the holidays, they might like it better in the “dead season”. I have this wonderful little stamp that is an Elf holding a sign that says ” Christmas ain’t over ’til Santa delivers!!” I stamp it on all the envelopes that go out after the holidays… I figure it’s about keeping in touch, not just the day!

  733. I try to get them out before Christmas. This year I did not reach my goal of having them all made before December….so I will be happy to mail them out a week before Christmas!!!

  737. I’m better at making my cards and helping others get theirs made than sending but I’m getting better. 🙂 I hand out most of my cards to friends and mail the ones to family the week before.

  738. Sandra Meyers

I have good intentions to get an early start, but I usually don’t get a chance to even start making my Christmas cards til the first week of December. I’ve even thought about sending New Years cards instead!

  739. Colleen K Teichman

I make extra large and many layered cards so I hand deliver mine. Other folks get emails, phone calls or animated cards online.

  744. I have had years where I send my cards very late, but never very early. And some years where I haven’t sent any at all.
I have gotten back into stamping in the past few months and I’m excited to send my hand-made cards this year. Time is tight (isn’t that true for most everyone?) but I am excited because I feel like there are many options from Stampin Up that will allow me to send some Christmas cards, then switch to more of a Happy New Year card if I am running behind. Besides, who won’t appreciate mail that doesn’t have a window in January?!

  745. Mary, I send my cards right before Christmas, some years they make it on time, some years they’re a day late but they get one! I’m thinking about switching to New Year’s cards instead with all the craziness and then my cards would always arrive on time! ; )

  763. Hopefully soon, 40 done and 20 to go…if I could only settle on one card it would be so much easier. I get bored though and usually make 5-6 different designs.

  764. I mail my cards usually the first week of December. But this year I was ahead of schedule and mailed them on Saturday!!

  765. I try to send out my cards the first week of December. However, this year I am way behind. Have only made one card and am not happy with it. Guess I will have to get really busy, quickly.
