This week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO370) was my road map for the design!

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • Love the sentiment!  It’s from Yippee Skippee stamp set and was cropped with my Banners Framelits Dies, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine and Big Shot Magnetic Platform (for perfect placement over the sentiment).

  6. Thanks for the feedback, Debbie. Honestly, I felt the Strawberry Slush was a bit strong (distracting?) but am going to continue to experiment. You give me confidence it may be OK (I’m just used to white which is a big contrast)!

  7. Sweet Mary, love the layout, words and colors – 5 star:) Judi

  8. Mary, I just LOVE your card! It’s so me! Love the feminine, vintage-y, nostalgic feel to it! Love the pink tone, too. That’s a great tip – experimenting with colored card stock for the back drop for your posts. I love what color you used for this card, it is stunning!! I love everything about what you do, your inspiration is endless.

  9. Thanks, Carol and Diane. My favorite part is the flirty touch of Baker’s Twine in Strawberry Slush!

  11. So pretty. Love the femine flowers with the pink/grey colors. hugs.

  12. Thanks, Roberta. Much is in the “editing” (and a good camera shot)! I have been struggling with a full white background lately (always turns a hint of green, pink, gray/blue) so am experimenting with a color/cardstock background.

  13. So sweet. Your cards always are so polished. Love it.

  14. Laura . . . It’s a neat layout that can be adapted to other occasions with a switch in patterned paper and a sentiment.

  15. Thanks, Nancy. Such an honor to have you CASE!

  16. Kadie. . . you naturally gravitate to any pink!
