A Merry Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge!

Today’s holiday card offers a lively mix of patterns and a new Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO371).

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • A simple collection of patterns to mix and match like Stampin’ Up! Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper is key.  It made the list of My Favorite Things from the holiday catalog!

  • Star Framelits Dies make the focal point a snap!  I’m actually re-purposing the star from a gift tag I received from Stampin’ Up!  Anyone else out there re-purpose?
  • Balance lots of pattern with minimal embellishing.  A Gold Basic Metal Button and Clothes Pin are plenty.

  • Cool thing!  The inside of the card matches the green pattern on the front.  I added a Whisper White layer for sharing a personal message.

  1. Mary,
I’ve been watching your videos for a long time but never commented before. I just love the combination of Kraft and color and pattern on this card! And the collection of elements clipped together with the clothespin is just adorable. Thanks for sharing your inspiring ideas!

  2. thats a wonderful card, Mary. I also like to repurpose and I have some glittery santas and snowmen that came on last year’s Christmas crackers that I am going to decorate cards with this year.

  4. Mary, good morning. I love this card! It has a nice “log cabin” feel to it. Makes me think of a warm fire, crackling pinecones and sipping a cup of hot tea. Thanks for the inspiration.

  5. Good Morning Mary,
Love the colors of the card. I like the Folk Art-ish look. I re-purpose pieces of cards too, especially if I’m in a rush. I also like to make parts of cards for future use.
    🙂
