One of the things I adore about the Stampin’ Up! Fall Fest stamp set and coordinating Fun Fall Framelits Dies is that they offer versatile elements that can be used for Halloween, autumn and Thanksgiving papercrafting projects. Here’s an autumn card sample I shared previously that employs just a single leaf from these products.
The color inspiration for this card is from this week’s Pals Paper Arts Challenge (PPA223). Check out what the rest of the PPA Resident Artists have come up with for this color combo HERE!
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- SAVE 15% when you purchase the Stampin’ Up! Fall Fest photopolymer (clear) stamp set and coordinating Fun Fall Framelits Dies together. Bundle #137628.
- The easiest path for creating the sentiment and word bubble? Stamp “trick or treat” from Ghoulish Greetings first on Very Vanilla Cardstock. Next, layer the word bubble outline stamp (love that it’s clear) from Project Life Point & Click stamp set over “trick or treat.” Finally, there’s coordinating a Word Bubble Framelit that ensures a perfect crop.
- I did a little switcheroo on Tangelo Twist (in the PPA trio) and changed it to Tangerine Tango so that my Candy Dot (from the Brights assortment) would match perfectly.
- Tuxedo Black Memento Ink is my “go to” black and gives consistent, deep black results. Watch my previously shared video on getting the best results with Stampin’ Up! solid image photopolymer (clear) stamps.
- Stampin’ Up! Flashback Designer Series Paper adds a charming, criss-cross pattern in Basic Black and Very Vanilla. Learn how you can earn up to 6 packs of designer series paper free (over a $65 value) when you purchase the $99 Starter Kit in October. More details below!
If you love pretty paper, there’s no better time to purchase the $99 Starter Kit (a wonderful deal already), test drive Stampin’ Up! demonstrator discounts and benefits and become a member of my Stampin’ Pretty Pals Virtual Community (when you purchase the kit and join through me) than during the month of October! Such a cute card.
I love your posts every day, but this card is so adorable I had to comment 😀 Thanks for the constant inspiration!
I’m so glad you enjoy it, Terri! I originally hadn’t planned on the added burlap but it caught the corner of my eye when I was making the card and I grabbed it. I think it gives it a little rustic drama!
This is simply adorable! One of my all time favorites from you.
Very cute Mary! Love the burlap!
Thanks, Wendy. I enjoy sharing as much as creating. Thanks for your feedback. It keeps me inspired!
Love this card Mary! You are so talented. Glad you have a place here online to share it with us 🙂

The burlap is a real eye catcher. Love the look of this card.
Love the “switcheroo” on Tangelo Twist…….The Candy Dot is the PERFECT addition to this card. But my FAVORITE is the burlap ribbon! AWESOME TOUCH!
My favorite is that cutie pie of a ghost, it’s just so “scary”, LOL!! 🙂 The strip of Burlap Ribbon just adds fabulous texture to this sweet card, thank you so much for sharing.
I like the tiny pops of Tangerine, too, Nancy. Keeps the vanilla and black interesting!
He’s definitely more “Casper” (the friendly ghost) than scary!
What an adorable card. I love the texture the burlap ribbon adds.
What I like most is that the little ghost is cute not scary.
MSMARY That’s such cute card. Love it ,love the bubble framlets, don’t have them yet but will, on my list !!
Hugs Frenchie ,
