A Love Affair with the Stampin’ Up! Hearts Border Punch

It has been a very busy weekend for my paper, stampers and ink!  I finished 113 swap cards for the Stampin’ Up! Founder’s Circle swap (this Thursday) along with today’s card for the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO363).

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • Kiss, kiss!  The Stampin’ Up! Hearts Border Punch produced in groups of four the little Strawberry Slush hearts.  I love how the pink pops against Early Espresso.

  • Mixing in a dose of Hello, Honey (Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack) with Strawberry Slush and Early Espresso was inspired by this page from a fashion catalog!

  • Quick & easy!  I used the darkest of the Daffodil Delight Blendabilities Markers to color the pearl to match.
  • A 2″ Circle Punch was used to crop the striped image from #Hello stamp set.  Good news!  The punch is 25% off as part of the Stampin’ Up! Weekly Deals.   The sale ends today!

  1. Thanks, “my ink pad!” I recommend starting with the corners and then centering a heart in the middle . . . it should go pretty smoothly from there but don’t be surprised if you have to nudge a few!

  3. GORGEOUS color combination Mary! Think my favorite detail is how you used the darkest Daffodil Delight Blendabilities Marker to color the pearl to match your card. FABULOUS! Have a SUPER FUN TIME at Founders Circle. (PS-Congrats on completing your Found Circle swap cards!)

  4. FYI: This is not my swap card. I can’t imagining lining up all those little hearts 113 times! I’ll share my swap card (holiday) next week! Hint . . . I used the Heart Border Punch on my swap card, too, but created a border.
