A Preview of Wondrous Wreath

In less than a week, the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog will be live (August 28).  It’s a card maker’s dream in addition to offering fabulous holiday gift and decorating ideas. Today we’ll take a peek at one of the new stamps sets that I anticipate will be a top pick:  Wondrous Wreath.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • When I got together with my Stampin’ Pretty Pals this past weekend in San Diego, Linda Foster demonstrated this card (the concept originally from Convention).  We lightly spritzed the inked wreath stamps (three different stamp images) with water and “stamped off” to create the variety of greens.  All this was accomplished using one ink color–Old Olive.

  • Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Paper was used for the top layer.  It’s helps absorb the extra moisture from spritzing and create a soft, painterly effect.
  • SNEAK PEEK!  Wondrous Wreath stamp set is photopolymer (clear) which makes it perfect for precise and easy layering.

  • SNEAK PEEK!  The sentiments are from Endless Wishes Photopolymer stamp set.  It’s so simple to place these transluscent stamps right where you want them.
