Stampin’ Up! Happenings Simply Created Card Kit

IMG_2053-002

As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I have a gift for my daughter, Caroline, tucked inside of my “proud” gift bag.   I assembled simple handmade cards and envelopes from the Stampin’ Up! Happenings Simply Created Card Kit so that she would have quick thank yous at hand while at college.  I’m a stickler for getting off thank you notes promptly.  It was amazing how quickly the supplies above evolved into the cards below.  Love it!  A great gift idea for a busy or new card maker!

  1. Mary, These cards are so sweet and a great gift for Caroline. Your daughter sounds like she has a great head on her shoulders, just like her wonderful Mom.
Thank you for the information on the stamp storage unit. I think you might want to ask if you can receive some commission for all of your customers are going to be checking that out. Happy Stamping,

  3. Wow am glad to hear you are a stickler about Thank You cards. My Mom was also. Some kids will send a hand typed text that is all text “language!” Wonder how many kids have even used snail mail….GOL (giggle out loud!) I’ve made them up for my kids, grown ups now, but they are who knows where! I had them make there own when they were young! Oh well, life beats to a different drum these days. 🙂

  4. As others have noted, I am intrigued by your ink pad and marker storage in the background. Where did you get this? Very clever!
