I have a fabulous guest artist today, Ellen Smallwood, a member of my Stampin' Pretty Pals Virtual Community. Ellen loves to drop her favorite handmade goodies in the mail to me and I get a chance to show them off to you. She originally learned how to make the tee pee card above on You Tube (I'm working on getting you a link . . . the PDF I shared earlier wasn't the right one. Sorry). I'm thinking these would make fun placecards. What are your ideas? Please leave me a comment below.
Ellen also created these darling "love" cards (based on a card she saw on Stampin' Connection, a private gallery for demonstrators). She embelllished the paper lanterns with hearts–perfect. The stamp sets she used include Stampin' Up! Language of Love (Wood-Mount 133074 or Clear-Mount 133077), Happy Congratulations (Wood-Mount 133044 or Clear-Mount 133047) and Best of Love (Clear-Mount 132197). See more Stampin' Up! "Best of" stamp sets (only available through March 31).
LOVE TO LEARN? I have over 100 FREE Video Tutorials in My Tutorial Library. Or check out my Stampin' Pretty Gallery (1000+ papercrafting projects). Both are located conveniently under "Tutorials" in the navigation bar above!
MORE TALES FROM THE DUST! This week has had it's setbacks in My Stampin' Studio. The undercabinet tape lighting presented challenges for the electricians (resulting in more drywall removal, repair and dust) as well as not offering enough light in my studio once it was in. As frustrating as it is, I know it's imperative to have good task lighting and we hope to get brighter tape light installed soon. Frankly, I wish I had gone with standard undercabinet lighting . . . live and learn.
