Handsome Father’s Day Card By Guest Penny Nichols

How about a handsome Father's Day card for a dapper dad!  Penny Nichols, today's guest stamper and a member of my Stampin' Pretty Pals Virtual Community, created a masculine masterpiece.  I'm nutso about how she scored the panel behind the focal point and then sponged the ink on it to look like boards of a ship.  Clever girl!

I love reading the comments. I totally would have missed the compass until I read it in Laurie’s comment. This is such a great card, thanks for showcasing Penny’s card for father’s day! Stay cool!

  5. Gotta work on fathers day. Man! Lol. Happy fathers day to all!!

  6. A really nice card. What I like most if the cut out and sponging on it’s edge. That along with placement of the compass adds depth. It would make a great birthday or retirement card also.

  7. I loved how she did the boards of the ship. It looks like real planks. Mary also love your blog and your style and all of your pretty pals
work. Have a Happy Fathers Day.
