Dude, I’m welcome, too! I purchased two of the new Stampin’ Up! Dude, You’re Welcome Card Kits. One is for me (used to create today’s cards) since I adore a clean and simple style. The second kit is for my dear husband, Scott, always supportive of my passion for stamping, but never having inked up a stamp in his life. I can’t wait to witness him making his first card . . . shall I do a video?
Check out what’s included in the Dude, You’re Welcome Card Kit:
- Four wood-mount stamps (double-mounted) with the perfect sentiment for every occasion
- Twelve 4″ x 6″ postcards in four different (manly) colors
- Twelve gray envelopes
- A Basic Gray Classic Stampin’ Pad
- An instructional guide (for the most novice stamper!)

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- The “Dude” Kit includes card making basics (except adhesive). However, I juiced up both of today’s samples with my own interpretation and additional Stampin’ Up! products! Each of my cards measures 6 1/4″ x 4 1/4″.
- Pierce “outside the box!” I used the Stampin’ Up! Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack to outline the sentiment.
- Real Red hearts add a profound punch of color to both valentines.
- A red button and Linen Thread add style but keep the look decidedly masculine.
- NEED A CHUCKLE? Watch this promotional video from Stampin’ Up! for the “Dude” kits!

Love the cards! My DH said Not A Chance! Card making is all me according to him, but it doesn’t stop him for asking for guy kind of cards!
My youngest son might though…
Oh, hidden camera for Scott’s big day of card making!
Great cards Mary, I was not at all interested in this set until I saw your cards. My Huz would definitely give it a try at least once. He loves my cards and is always asking me to make one for a friend or client or couple, this would make it easy for him to do his own; although I’m sure he will end up asking me to do a special card because he really likes all the embellishments. Well, I’ll just add it to my list! Thanks Mary, Hugs Candy
I am getting myself a set! I love what you did and hope you will use the set again! Dawn Griffith or Griffin filmed her husband and the set. It is good for a laugh too – complete with blood! I wish my husband was more understanding – he still doesn’t see why I don’t go to the Hallmark store which is just a few blocks from our house and buy them! Maybe there is hope yet! The video is o.k. but the guy knew how to open the stamp pads and I still have trouble!
Fabulous cards, Mary!
I love your card! Perfect, perfect!
I love both cards!! I would really like this stamp set for myself. My husband has a hard enough time just buying a card much less making one! But who knows, perhaps he’d surprise me if I buy this set just for him! 🙂
Great job as always Mary!
Great cards, Mary. I too, can’t see my hubby sitting down and making a card, he is not at all crafty but, this stamps are very apropriate for those oh! so difficult masculine cards. This examples today are really fabulous.
Thank you for sharing.
Waw this are really gorgeous Mary. Hugs! Mojca
these cards are just adorable, Mary! I hadn’t planned to get that set (certainly not one for my husband…he would definitely not appreciate the gesture) but after seeing the cute cards you made I might have to change my mind and get it.
He claims he will make a card using the kit . . . just haven’t let him in on the video idea . . . yet!
I think Scott would win the “BEST HUSBAND” of the year award if he stepped in and did a video with this set. I just know Scott has all kinds of card making abilities…..Hope he shares those skills with us.
A video of your husband making his first card? Yes, please and thank you! 🙂
These are marvelous. I love the pops of red and the use of twine and buttons. Your designs are amazing!
What fun it would be to see a video of your sweet husband stamping a card…..for you maybe? I am definitely getting this kit for the men in my life! Hey Scott, “lights….camera….action”!
