Henry Says is “Unforgettable!”

Stampin up stampinup pretty order online henry says valentine day card idea spring catalog

I created these simple valentines for the wee ones in my family.  They have a cross country trip ahead of them along with yummy treats from Auntie Mary!  The Henry Says stamp set (Stampin’ Up! Spring Catalog) offers this sweet elephant and a variety of sayings.

OK . . .  Henry became “Henrietta” for the little girls (plus bling)!  Paper Snips were my secret weapon in cutting out the elephant.  They navigate those curves with ease!

Patterned Paper can be adorable when stamped with line images.  I used Stampin’ Up! More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper for the card above!

  1. This is so stinkin’ cute, Mary. Can’t believe how versatile this little elephant is. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for the warning about Stamping Top 50. Some people need to find better things to do with their time. Like, stamping, maybe!

  2. Hi Mary:
Love the valentine cards. With 3 small grandchildren, I can vamp each card for each little boy. Fun for me to go through my DSP’s and pick just the right paper. Love your daily blogs-look forward to them each day. My BFF sister got me hooked onto your site – glad she did.
Thank you for sharing all your wonderful ideas and those of your “pals”.
    Have a great weekend.

  6. Very cute card, Mary! I love how you have changed the feel of the card a little by changing the paper you have made Henry/Henrietta out of.

  7. Super cute cards, Mary. Somehow this little elephants remind me of Walt Disney’s “Dumbo”, when he is having this weird dreams, after drinking some water “tainted” with some kind of alcohol by the clowns, with lots of elephants in all shades of pink, running around and doing all sorts of things.
That elephant image in this set is just darling and the way you added the bling…..genious!!

  8. Cute, cute, cute! Love ’em! What a great idea. I also like stamping on DSP. Fussy cutting is a art, but it is great for that POP sometimes! I have to admit, I’m a sucker for stamps sets and punches or framelits that match!!!
