Holiday Sneak Peek: Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Preserved

Stampin up demonstrator punch holiday catalog perfectly penned big shot framelits blogs

Can it really be time to be thinking about the holidays?   For those who like to get a head start, Stampin’ Up! has adjusted their holiday catalog schedule this year in your favor!  The holiday catalog customer sales period begins August 1, a month earlier than in previous years.  While we wait for the catalog to begin, it’s my job to show off the new products (one of the pleasures of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator) with lots of fun samples . . . starting with today’s clean and simple (CAS) card!

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • Meet Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper.  It salutes harvest time with fresh and fun patterns.  Colors include Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Island Indigo, More Mustard, Lucky Limeade and Raspberry Ripple.  I discovered that Sahara Sand (my card base and card stock for the pear) coordinates pretty nicely, too.
  • The pear stamp and little stem are from the new Perfectly Preserved stamp set.  They were cropped with the Cannery Set Framelits Dies (also new) that coordinate with the stamps.  So quick and crisp!

  • The Sahara Sand card base is 4 3/4″ x 3 3/4″.   The strip for the sentiment measures 5 1/2″ long and allows the card to fit in a standard (A2) envelope.

  3. Beautiful card…I have a question about the size. Are you cutting the card down so that with the banner you will still be able to fit it into an A2 sz. envie, or are you folding the banner under the card base?
    Thanks.
