Can you spot the three new Stampin’ Up! STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • Just say “bling!”  The new Stampin’ Up! Champagne Glimmer Paper (available Aug. 1) offers breathtaking sparkle in a rich, beige-gold finish.  Very retro and uber cool.

  • Although Glimmer Paper is much less messy than using loose glitter, some of the sparkles do go astray.  I keep a lint roller handy to clean up my stamping area and dies.  Works like a champ.
  • Snow Flurry Bigz Die (available Aug. 1) crops the glimmer paper into stunning snowflakes.  I layered all three snowflake shapes from the die on the larger version.
  • “Peace on Earth” is from Greetings of the Season (available Aug. 1).  I’m confident this stamp set of four holiday sentiments will be your “go to” for holiday paper crafting.
  • I used my Stampin’ Up! Color Coach to mix and match possibilities that would blend and accentuate the color of the Champagne Glimmer Paper.

  1. Here I am making my third comment on this beautiful card. I ended up CASEng your card and made 10. I finally used up one lingering one this year. It’s hard to believe how time flew. I’m a subscriber for all these years, but live in Canada.

  12. Nice combmination of colors… and you are right. They really do the glimmer paper justice. Thanks for including the color coach comment. This is something I have always debate on, but never really seen put to use. I usually try to stick with a pallette that is in a DSP Print, but when not including a print, ths would be very helpful.

  14. Mary … what do you use for adhesive with the glimmer paper? I LOVE the glimmer paper, but find that sometimes it’s hard to stick things ON TOP of the glimmer paper (like you’ve done by layering the snowflakes and then adding the pearl). Can you share your tips on adhesives for this type of project?
