Celebrate Stampin’ Up! Embellished Events

Stampin up demonstrator blogs punch big shot rubber stamps catalog card ideas mojo monday
It was one of the first stamp sets in the new Stampin’ Up! 2012-2013 Annual Catalog  to shout “FUN!” at me.  Embellished Events stamp images and sentiments work for many occasions.  The images are designed to be dressed up with Stampin’ Up! Brads, Pearl or Rhinestone Basic Jewels, the New In Color Dahlias or simply use your imagination!  I though the birthday cake would be delicious for today’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO245).

Mojo245STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • Pearl Basic Jewels are a quick and charming embellishment for the Embellished Events birthday cake.  Rhinestone Basic Jewels would work equally as well.

  • I used Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Write Markers in Tangerine Tango and Lucky Limeade to “paint” directly to the rubber of the stamp to produce a two color image.  Be sure to “huff” on the inked up rubber a couple times to moisten before you stamp.
  • The sweet patterned paper is from the Stampin’ Up! Floral District Designer Series Paper collection.

  • HOT TIP:   The flagged ends on the left were created using the Stampin’ Up! Bitty Banners Framelits.  I popped out one in Lucky Limeade card stock, cut it in two and voil?!

  5. Wow! What a bright and vivid card this morning. It looks very “summery”, juste like the past few days have been here in Quebec. Lots of sunshine and warm weather.
I’m happy to read that the paper is from the “District Floral” DSP. My 1st order from the new catalog is coming in tomorrow and I’ll have some in. Hourray!

  6. What a gorgeous card. I love the colours! Another set to add to my wish list if this is in the UK catalogue in October. I think my favourite set though has to be Betsy’s Blossoms.
