Simple Stampin’ Up! Sunflower with a Punch!

Stampin up blossom petals punch big shot die cutting machine square lattice embossing folder card idea
I reached for my Blossom Petals Builder Punch for today’s card, using it in a different way than on yesterday’s project.  The Stampin’ Up! Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder gave the sunflower a gorgeous “needlepoint” texture.  Very chic!

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • The sentiment was stamped before embossing.  Good news!  The Pursuit of Happiness stamp set I used (images below) will carry over to the new Stampin’ Up! 2012-2013 Annual Catalog (available June 1).  Be sure to check out the Stampin’ Up! Retired Stamp List so you can grab your favorites before they retire on May 31.
  • Line up brads with ease using a Paper Piercing Tool and the Stampin’ Up! Piercing Mat (part of the Mat Pack).  Prefer visual instruction?   Here’s a 1 Minute to WOW Video Tutorial for the details.
