Simply Scored Bookmark “WOW” Video Tutorial

Stampin up bookmark demonstrator video tutorial card idea simply scored diagonal plate

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • To create the bookmark, I started with a 4 x 4″ square piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock.  Using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool and Simply Scored Diagonal Plate, I scored the square from the center (2″) to the sides.  The scores are folded back to create a point and pocket.

  • I cut a 2 1/2″ square of Basic Black Card Stock.  It was cut in half (corner to corner) to create two triangles.   I used one of the Basic Black triangles to adhere to and secure the back of the Cherry Cobbler folded pocket.
  • Stampin’ Up! First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper was cut to  3 3/4″ square.   I scored it using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool and Diagonal Plate from the center (1 7/8″) to the edges. I cut off the “flaps” at the score lines–resulting in a perfect layer for the front of the bookmark.
  • I used a Brayer and Crumb Cake Ink on the inside front of the Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  This enhances the pattern of the Crumb Cake card stock when everything is run through a Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine.  DON’T MISS:  The Stripes Embossing Folder can be yours FREE with a product order of $50 or more during the Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration Promotion.
