Stampin’ Up! Bright Blossoms Trio

Stampn up bright blossoms rubber stamps catalog bitty box envelope big shot bigz die
Introducing Stampin’ Up! Bright Blossoms!  This is a sneak peek look at a future stamp set from the new Stampin’ Up! annual catalog (2012-2013) and will be available June 1, 2012.  Bright Blossoms is a fresh, modern and oh so buildable little set.  It reminds me of my Stampin’ Pretty tulip!  Some of you noticed this when I gave you a little snapshot yesterday!  Good eyes!

These 2 x 2 cards fit perfectly inside the box and envelopes produced with the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine and Bitty Box & Envelope Bigz XL Die.

Small cards are charming tucked in a lunch box, with a small gift or included with a batch of fresh baked cookies.

Each card has it’s own personality.  However, I recommend you keep the look simple on such a small scale.  The Real Red button on the card above and box are part of the Brights Designer Buttons Collection (72 buttons).  Earn the Brights Designer Buttons FREE as part of the Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration promotion.

The circular bloom and sentiment complement each other.  I used a Lucky Limeade Stampin’ Write Marker to add a “dash-ing” stem!

The bitty box is the ultimate presentation for the cards and envelopes.  I cut my belly band to 1 3/4″ x 7 1/8″ and scored using my Stampin’ Up! Simply Scored Scoring Tool at approximately 1 3/4″, 2 5/8″, 5″ and 5 7/8″.  I plan to give this to a friend who hosted lunch for me recently.  She’ll have a handy stash of pretty gift cards.

The Bitty Box & Envelope Bigz XL Die (with the help of the Big Shot) cropped and scored these wee envies to perfection.  I suggest using the Extended Premium Crease Pad (118630) for clean score lines with no cut through.

  2. You’re going to think this is a crazy question, but where in the sandwich do you put the crease pad? I haven’t used mine much because I’m not really sure how to use it properly and didn’t want to ruin anything. I have this die but haven’t used it too successfully yet. Thanks for sharing – love your cards, as always!
