They cut with precision, layer beautifully and are the hot ticket in the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Mini Catalog. The new Framelits Dies (available in Hearts and Labels collections) are easy to use with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine. I’m willing to bet there will be many more shapes on the horizon!I used the Framelits Labels Collection Dies and the coordinating Apothecary Art stamp set (also new in the Occasions Mini Catalog).
Today’s Stampin’ Pretty Video Tutorial shares the simple pathway to perfect Framelits results.
JOYFOLD CARD: A joyfold card is simply two intersecting cards. My base card began with an 8 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Island Indigo card stock which was scored with my Stampin’ Up! Simply Scored Scoring Tool at 5 1/2″. The smaller card was originally cut to 8″ x 3 1/4″ and scored at 4″
FABULOUS TIP! Several of my Stampin’ Pretty blog readers contacted me regarding today’s tutorial. They shared that using a sticky note to hold the die in place works as a temporary adhesive. Genius! Thanks for the heads up, guys!

Mary – this is absolutely beautiful. And since you happened to post it on my birthday, I feel like it was “meant to be”. I made my version of it using some of the Everyday Enchantment DSP and I couldn’t be happier with it. I’m planning on using it for a Valentine card, too. Thanks SO much for this and for all of the projects you post; you’re a great inspiration.
I’m in love again. . .
Love this card-Island Indigo monochromatic scheme, layers, fun fold and OF course the Framelet dies and stamp set. How can it get any better? Knowing you and the Pretty Pals, it will . . .
I am a new demo doing my first workshop on Monday and may combine some of this idea with “bubble” technique I am planning to use. The card I was going to do worked for me but not necessarily for my customers. Kudos!
What a gorgeous card in blue! I do love those framelits and the coordinating stamps.
hugs,
Ellen
What a gorgeous card, Mary!! Island Indigo is my favie In Color, so it pleased me to no end to see this monochromatic scheme for your stunning card. The Framelet Label dies look to be a terrific new product; thanks for the video on how you used them for this card.
Thanks for Sharing. I had another product from a different co. and never used them and gave them away. I also hesitated on getting SU Framlits. I am sold now and am going to get these Framlits. I always thought they were not easy to use. To bad I didn’t save the others, but alas I think SU will introduce many like the other co’s.
Wow! Your card is stunning!!
Painter’s tape works or so does Herma repositionable adhesive! Beautiful card
Wow, this card is so stunning Mary! Love the monochromatic look.
I used the heart framelits dies at a work shop the other night. They cut so nice & clean. I definitely will have to add this product to my “wish list”. Thanks for showing the “label” framelits dies. These would be very versitle, another item for my “wish list”.
Have a good rest of the day.
Mary Ann
Love your card, Mary! Of course, “what else is new”???
Thanks for your tutorial. I bought some Edgelits and other things but will now have to buy this set! It seems to be so versatile.

SO beautiful, Mary!
I love it! So pretty 🙂 You always make amazing cards and I am always directing people to your website for inspiration!
This is gorgeous Mary, love the colors.
This will make a beautiful birthday card for people who are shut-ins. So pretty!
I can’t think of any SU product that I’ve been so pleased with as these framelets. They are so easy to use and produce such a great card with hardly any effort. I plan on copying your card today. Thanks.
excellent tip, Barbara. thanks for sharing. i normally don’t have much issue with keeping my framelits die in place but will give your suggestion a try. I was trying to work around a “dangling video/iphone” during the tutorial which through me a bit off balance! hugs, m
Hi Kathy:
Dazzling Details (the “clear” version I used) is still available. It was carried over when the Holiday Mini ended Jan. 3. Here’s a list of all products from the Holiday Mini that are still available. http://www.stampinup.com/us/documents/CarryOver__Holiday_1211_US%281%29.pdf
Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details is available in the Occasions Mini!
Hugs, Mary
Very clever idea, Miss Katy! Mary
Such a pretty card Mary. Love the video tutorial – Know many folks are going to appreciate you showing the layering and cutting technique for the framelits. LOVE EM! Thanks again Mary for another awesome video tutorial.
This is so lovely!
WOW! this is beautiful Mary. I have a question re the
Dazzling Details (124117) I don’t see it in the big catalog or the mini… which catalog is it in?
Absolutely beautiful card!!!!
Great card, nice color, love the framelits:)
Love the card, positively gorgeous! A little tip I use… to hold dies in place, adhere with a couple small pieces of removable tape.
Beautiful, Mary! And this gave me an idea for a gift idea… Make up the cards, stamp up the sentiments but don’t adhere and provide the choice of sentiments and dimensionals to the recipient to use as desired… What do you think?
Love the monochromatic color…beautiful…have to CASE this!
Absolutely GORGEOUS card!
