Let’s start the week with a new Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO225) and 1 Minute to WOW! Video Tutorial. Today’s card is for one of my Stampin’ Pretty Pals and grandma to-be. I thought the sentiment (Stampin Up! Sweetly Said rubber stamps) was the perfect way to say congrats!
Learn how to make a charming Scallop Trim Square with my 1 Minute to WOW Video Tutorial! REMEMBER! Start with a 1 15/16″ square for the best results!
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- Punch happy! I used not only the Scallop Trim Corner Punch, I grabbed the 1 3/8″ Circle, Heart to Heart and 3/16″ Corner Punch to create this card.
- Bring in the reinforcements! With the added weight of the punched layers, my Whisper White card base was struggling to stand up. I “lined” the interior with Baja Breeze card stock and used my Bone Folder to reset the score. Not only was it a sweet detail, my card is proudly standing at attention.
- DON’T MISS the sweet Twitterpated Designer Buttons (Occasions Mini Catalog) in Blushing Bride and Baja Breeze. Keep them in place with Stampin’ Up! Mini Glue Dots.
- A touch of Twitterpated Designer Series Paper on the Medium Square Envelope flap completes the look.

SO cute! good to know of one way to make a square using this punch! I’ve tried to make larger squares using a combination of the corner and the border punches, but they never work out– do you have any other tips for doing that??
Fantastic! I have the punch, I think, that probably has not every chomped into paper! The video wants me to try this out! Now, I need to get those two sets as I need to make a card for someone who is going to have twins and this would be an adorable card to say congrats as they just found out. I love the tiny hearts around the circle!
Mary, this is stunning! Beautiful card, just beautiful.
Who would have thought that 1/16th of an inch would make that much difference. BUT IT DOES! Many thanks Mary for yet another amazing one minut to wow video tutorial – You Rock Girlfriend!
I love Minute to Wow! And the card is darling…great tip on the measurement. Thanks, Mary!
Hello Mary: I love this card, the colors are so soft and the sketch totally fabulous. My sister is going to a baby shower next week, a coo-worker of my brother in law and friend is having her second grandchild. I only wish I was back home (Still in Los Cabos but getting closer to coming home!!!!!) so I could send her this little card so she could WOW!! her friends.
Thanks for sharing.
Maria.
I love, love, LOVE this card!!! 🙂
Thanks for the tip; I have that punch but never use it, now I will!
