Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge (PPA122)

Stampin up holiday card idea punch mini catalog
Today's card offers proof that you don't need tons of products to create a simple and polished holiday card.  I streamlined even further by starting the project with a classic holiday card color combination offered by this week's Pals Paper Arts Challenge (PPA122):  Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke and Very Vanilla.  We would love to have you play this week's PPA Challenge.

CherryArtichokeVanillaDON'T MISS!  Our PPA celebrity guest stamper is Canadian Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Angela McKay.  Be sure to click here and see what Angela and the rest of the PPA Design team have drummed up with these beautiful colors!

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

  • Stampin' Dimensionals . . . how do I love thee?  I use my Stampin' Dimensionals on almost every card.  On a simple card like this one, they give the perfect 3-D boost to the ornaments.
  • The Stampin' Up! Tree Trimmings stamp set is one of my holiday favorites.  The set offers a clean design and the ornaments are easy to crop with my Paper Snips.  This set is only available in wood-mount.  However, watch my Stampin' Pretty Video Tutorial to learn how to convert them to storage saving clear-mount with Stampin' Up! Clear- Mount Cling Mount Foam (124236) and a hot knife. Slick!
  • 3/8" Denim Jean Ribbon in Always Artichoke (also available in Blue) looks divine and is very "cooperative" when tying a bow.
  • The Very Vanilla Medium Envelope gets a coordinating touch.

      2. Eye Catching! Simple, but very elegant. I always look at my Christmas cards to see if it would ‘stand out’ in someone’s display. This definitely would :o) TFS!
