As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I receive a monthly magazine that's full of creative ideas. In this month's issue, I saw the typewriter from the "You're My Type" stamp set (available in the Occasions Mini Catalog Jan. 4) with a simple flower resting on it. I adored the idea and had to spin my own little version! Here's a previous sample using the same typewriter stamp.
STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:
- The Black Oval Scallop Frame helped define the "white space" of the card without giving up the simplicity.
- Large solid stamps like the typewriter, can sometimes leave an open ink area when stamped. I enlisted a Blender Pen and a little Basic Black ink to fill in any gaps. Layer ink gradually. Watch my Blender Pen Ink Fix Video Tutorial to learn more.
- The tiny leaf began with a circle cropped with the circle punch from the Stampin' Up! Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack. I "fished" the circle back in the same punch adhered to a scrap of paper and cropped it into the leaf shape.
