New Simply Scored WOW! Video Tutorial

Stampin up aviary rubber stamps border punch simply scored scoring tool
One of the key features that has me smitten with the Stampin' Up! Simply Scored Scoring Tool is that the grooves are placed every 1/8".  Not only does this make boxes and envelopes with smaller increments a dream, it opens the door for creative scoring, too.  Today's Stampin' Pretty 1 Minute to WOW! Video Tutorial shows you how simple it is to produce a classy background texture in seconds.

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIP:  I scored 3 lines, each 1/8" apart and then skipped three.  I repeated the process to continue the pattern.

LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!  I added a little mood music  to the beginning and end of the video.  It's still short and sweet.  However, I'm hoping the overall feel is more spirited and polished.  I also added a detailed list of supplies used at the end, so that they are available to my YouTube viewers as well 🙂

  1. Hi Mary,
I love your video and the beautiful card. This is a great technique and it can be very versatile. The music sounds southwestish which is approraiate for Arizona. Thank you for sharing!

  9. Super AWESOME Card Mary! Love your pattern and how super easy it is to get that look by just skipping a couple spaces….that in itself is a Super WOW! Also – thanks for showing us you don’t have to go all the way down the front of your card (because it’s going to be covered up with your stamped image). Thanks for sharing girlfriend (and I love your intro music).

  10. Hi Susan: I purchased the music through istockphoto (that way I can legally use it). It’s not anything famous. I like Spanish guitar music and find it soothing and inspirational at the same time. Hope it is for you, too! Hugs, M
