Yes, Virginia, you really CAN use pink for the holidays! Stampin' Up! Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper offers a vintage style and a colorful mix of Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, Marina Mist, Early Espresso, Whisper White and Blushing Bride (pink). Bonus! Many of the patterns work for occasions beyond the winter holidays.
Today's Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO214) calls for mixing a combination of shapes and elements. Feel free to be creative. I replaced the flower with an ornament. I embossed and layered the flagged ends. I used a Stampin' Up! 1 3/8" Square Punch to create the "flag." Watch my video tutorial to learn how.
- The ornament stamp from Tags Til Christmas gets a clean crop from the Stampin' Up! Ornament Punch. Love it!
- Adding the coordinating Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap gives the pair a polished finish.
- Be sure to use plenty of adhesive and go to the edges of the flap so there won't be any "lift" from the flap. Watch my Envelope Envy Video Tutorial for more tips.
- The Blushing Bride Glimmer Brad is the perfect balance for the sentiment. It offers even more color and sparkle in the light.

Beautiful card. I just love that colour combo and that DSP pack. Must get into my craft room and use up my stash after I submit my own creation to Mojo Monday, of course! Hugs from Canberra, OZ.

Gorgeous, Mary! These papers are fabulous…and so is this week’s Mojo sketch!
LOVE this card, Mary! You’re right about this paper being meant for more than Christmas. And another thing that I love about this paper pattern set is the stripe set on the diagonal! This card speaks to me, “make me …. I have five layers …. an odd number.” Sorry, I just have to have odds, LOL Hugs, C
I like that embossing folder with this card! It looks like poinsettias!!
Love your pink & green Christmas card, Mary! Makes my preppy heart go pitter patter. 🙂
I love pink! I just made my Christmas cards in Cherry Cobbler and Pink Pirouette. When I told my daughter, she was confused and thought I was getting a jump start on Valentine’s Day 🙂
WOW! That’s it. Just “WoW!!!”
Greens, pink & brown! Love it! Love that touch of plaid!
