Remember the song "Manic Monday" by the Bangles? That song popped into my head thinking about today's blog post title so I rolled with it. Hopefully, your Monday won't be "manic" and you'll find creative energy to stamp with this week's Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO211) by Julee Tilman.
Make your own photo corner element in seconds using a Stampin' Up! Square Punch . . .
. . . today's 1 Minute to "WOW" Video Tutorial shows you how.
STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:
- The stunning flower was inspired by one on this drawer box by Katy McGloin, a member of my Stampin' Pretty Pals.
- To create the flower, pop out six 1 3/4" Scallop Circles. Crunch, mist with water and assemble on a brad. Simple.
- Worried about how to send a card with that pretty flower without it getting crushed? Consider mailing this card on a well-cushioned trip in one of the Stampin' Up! Padded Envelopes (116911). My mother is visiting this weekend so she will get this hand delivered (another alternative for "big" 3-D) in a clear envelope (102619).
- Note the tr?s chic embossing details on the sentiment layer–courtesy of my Stampin' Up! Simply Scored Scoring Tool.
- My inspiration for the flower and color scheme are from the Grandin Road home d?cor catalog. That fun pillow caught my eye!

Oh I love this card! The colors are fabulous and that flower is awesome.
So gorgeous and elegant. Love the colours and details!
My favorite bling is glitter!!! I love how it sparkles in the light and makes everything fun.
I would have to say my new favorite “Bling” to add to my cards are the Designer printed brands. They give my flowers cute polka dot character.
Love your blog and tutorials, Mary! Blog candy is just the icing on the cake!

Gorgeous!
I hear that song each Mojo Monday 🙂 it just adds to the challenge. Stunning card, love the flower. Fabulous video too.
Mary, such a pretty card! Thanks for sharing. I wonder… do you actually mail cards like that? I see so many people post cards that are so “thick” or 3-D. I wonder if those cards ever get sent or given since they don’t fit into standard envelopes. Call me curious and wondering what to do… LOL.
oh this is too weird. I am on my laptop, reading blogs and watching Dancing With the Stars…and the Bangles are singing Manic Monday as I’m reading this! I’m central time in Wisconsin.

What a great hint for making the photo corners–so easy! Now, I’d love it if you’d do a Wow tutorial on how to do the scoring for the sentiment. I ‘get’ the lines, but haven’t figured out how to ‘do’ the rectangular box. Thanks, Mary…great card!
