Mary, this reinforces my desire to do more paper quilling. Just tried my first one a couple of weeks ago while meeting Pam at a local craft shop that was doing make and takes with this technique. Your card is absolutely gorgeous… so sweet!
Love this! Can’t believe I haven’t looked at the demo mag yet, so didn’t realize this was in there. Years ago I bought the quilling tool with the hole but never used it. I’ve always meant to, just never have. I’ll definitely need to do this now.

SO beautifully done, Mary! I love the effect quilling provides and should break out my quilling tools as I’ve had them for years now. My mom was quite the master when she was younger and she taught me her secrets. The colors you used are beautiful as well!
Mary, you have just changed my mind about quilling. I’ve seen it for years and simply ignored it because it’s not something ELSE I needed to get involved in. I spent less than a nano second on the article in Stampin’ Success, and couldn’t turn the page fast enough as I went right on past it. But this has given me reason to pause. Mary, I love your card. I love that you can use the paper piercer to twirl the paper, but they also sell a little quilling tool that holds the end into a slot so you can twist it a little easier. I purchased one at Joanne fabrics. I’m glad paper quilling is coming back because it adds so much to the card without being too bulky. Thanks for the tutorial.

Your idea of placing the quilled flowers on designer paper circles (along with the cute dp leaves) is really the perfect addition! Good morning, Mary: WOW!! this is just so pretty. I’ve seen quilling kits at the craft store but I’ve always been a bit hesitant to give this a try. This video is so great and you make it look so easy so, I will definetly will give it a try.
