I have so much to share with you today, including this week's  Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO204) and my latest 1 Minute to "WOW" Video Tutorial.

STILL USING YOUR SCISSORS TO CREATE FLAGGED ENDS?  Flagged ends (as used on today's birthday card and in the Mojo Sketch) are a hot trend in papercrafting.  This 1 Minute to "WOW" Video Tutorial shows you how to use a Square Punch to obtain quick,  clean and consistent results.

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

  • Stampin up patterned party heat embossing powder circle scissor plus punch The new Stampin' Up! embossing powder colors are gorgeous.  I used Tempting Turquoise on the gift image for a shiny, raised finish.  Other available colors include:  Cherry Cobbler, Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi and Melon Mambo.
  • A snippet of White Baker's Twine gives the buttons a stitched look.  Mini Glue Dots keep the buttons and twine solidly in place.
  • The birthday sentiment with the snazzy font is from Happiest Birthday Wishes, one of the exclusive hostess stamp sets in the new Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog.
  • DID YOU KNOW?  You can earn ANY hostess set starting with a $150 product order.  Available when you order on-line, too!!  See the NEW Stampin' Up! Hostess Rewards Program!
  • Heat embossing gets neat and tidy.  Re-purpose your wood-mount stamp storage containers (or find comparable inexpensive plastic storage) as full-time embossing storage and trays–all in one.  I have a container for each color and pop them back in the drawer "as is" when done.  My preferred size is  6.5 x 9" to easily cover and swish an A2 sized card layer.

  4. What a great tip! I wonder if you can use punches to make the same pennant style ends with ribbon? Maybe if I spray some starch on the ends this will work? Have you tried it?

Now that I’m turning all my wood mount stamps to clear mount, (thanks to your other video) I will have this perfectly sized containers for embosing powders, glitter, etc.
