My Top 10 Favorite Stampin’ Up! Accessories

I previously shared My Favorite Stamps from the new 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog.  Today I reveal My Favorite New Accessories!  Leave me a comment at the end of this post with your favorite (or favorites)!  I would love to hear!

MARY'S TOP 10 FAVORITE ACCESSORIES FROM THE NEW CATTY!

1.  2011-2013 In Colors:  Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder, Island Indigo.  What's not to love?

2.  Mocha Morning Specialty Designer Series Paper (122366, p. 183).  Classy patterns that get the added punch of black flocking and metallic ink.

3.  Domestic Goddess Designer Series Paper (122355, p. 184).  I'm the last person who falls within the definition of "domestic goddess."  However, those colors and patterns have me singing for the sixties!

4.  Big Top Birthday Designer Series Paper (122348, 186).  Bold, bright and fun!

5.  Ruffled Ribbon (comes in the five 2011-2013 In Colors, p. 194).  Charming ruffled edge and easy to tie.

6.  Mini Clothespins (122942, p. 198).  Unique and clever for clipping on a sentiment or hanging your tiniest shirts (just kidding on the shirts).

7.  Cherry Cobbler (122949) and Tempting Turquoise (122950) Stampin' Emboss Powder (p. 201).  You loved when Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi and Melon Mambo were added to the Summer Mini Catalog line-up.  This was an automatic wish list item for me.

8.  Clear Mount Foam (124236, p. 205):  I fell head over heels for Stampin' Up!'s clear-mount stamps when they were introduced and haven't looked back.  This clear-mount foam allows me to convert my wood stamps to clear.  Dreamboat.  Video coming soon!

9.  Lace Ribbon Border Punch (122362, p. 211).  What a statement this big border proudly makes!

10.  Houndstooth Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (123134, p. 218).  Stampin' Up! embossing folders give rich, patterned results and the new Houndstooth option is stunning.

  1. I like the houndtooth embossing folder, the lace border punch, the ruffled ribbon just to name a few. I think the mounting foam is a great idea too.

  4. Thanks for the great ideas. Look forward to your video on converting wood mount to clear. What a great idea! Very difficult to narrow down my favorites, my list is getting longer with all the ideas I see out there. Here’s a few though: the new in colors paper & ink (already have that set on order), Domestic Goddess dsp, Berry Blossoms dsp, Just Add Cake dsp, pennants builder punch, and the new ruffled ribbon. I can’t wait to see all your new creations with the new products!

  5. Great selections, Mary. The new In Colors are wonderful, but my favorite DSP is the Big Top Birthday. I love pinwheels! I REALLY like the ruffled ribbon, and the pennant punch because it’s fun with the matching stamp set. I must admit I didn’t notice the houndstooth embossing folder, but I’ll hold off on that to see what creative ideas you share ;o) I’m really excited to hear you will give us a demonstration on the clear mount foam. I’m sure that will be quite useful!! Thanks for pointing out the ‘newbies’ ~ and, of course, for your creative ideas to use them!!!

  6. I am excited to see the video for the clear mount foam in action. I have an alphabet set that needs new mounting and it would be so much easier to make a word (on a clear block)then stamp it all at once, rather than one letter at a time. I have to say that I didn’t even see this in the new catty. Thanks for highlighting this for all of us!

  7. My favorite is the Mocha Morning Speciality DSP because of it’s elegance and versatility including masculine cards. Also love the ruffled ribbons.

  8. I will be looking forward to the video. My stamp closet needs that “clear” makeover….either that or a bigger closet! I am SO out of space for new stamps :(.

  9. I would have to say that the Mocha Morning DSP, the new In Colors, the Petite Pennant punch, the Lace Border punch and the Scalloped Dotted Ribbons are my favorites – but then I go through the catalog again and – wouldn’t you know – I find a few more items to add to my evergrowing “Must Have” list… lol

  12. Great picks Mary. Three of yours are my tops: Lace Ribbon border punch, Mocha Morning Specialty Designer Series Paper, and the Houndstooth Embossing Folder. I’ve always been a sucker for punches and Big Shot items, and I think I actually squealed when I saw the Houndstooth!
