Mojo Monday & Rhinestone “WOW!” Video

Stampin up basic rhinestone jewels pocketful of posies punch Are these dashing red rhinestones a new Stampin' Up! accessory?  Actually, they are Basic Rhinestone Jewels transformed from clear to red in seconds using a Sharpie (an idea suggested to me by my downline, Carla B.).   There are oodles of Sharpie colors!

I saw this week's Mojo Monday Sketch (MOJO196)  from a different perspective.  I flipped it 90 degrees and took a little extra liberty with some of the elements.



  • Stampin up happiest birthday wishes hostess rubber stamps catalog Love that stamp?  NEW PRODUCT!  It's from Happiest Birthday Wishes, one of the new hostess stamp sets, available July 1 in the Stampin' Up! 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalog.  It coordinates with the Stampin' Up! Extra Large Oval Punch.
  • I paper pieced two of the presents for a little spice.
  • NEW PRODUCT!  The sweet, little polka dot paper is from Pocketful of Posies Designer Series Paper collection.  Available July 1.
  • A small Basic Rhinestone (also red) is used to jazz up one of the presents and balance the trio in the top right.

  12. Thanks Mary for the great tip on colouring pearls and rhinestones. I have been trying different markers without success. Now I have a good reason to visit my local stationery store (as if I ever need a reason for this:-))
