Meet the Stampin’ Up! 2011-2012 In Colors

Stampin up in colors square punch
Meet the new kids on the block . . . the stamping block that is.  Stampin' Up! will be adding 5 new In Colors when they launch the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog on July 1.  How do you like the sound of Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder?

These fresh and hip colors will be available in addition to current In Colors Peach Parfait, Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride and Concord Crush, for a total of 10 In Colors.  I have created simple cards below to illustrate how the new colors compare to existing Stampin' Up! colors. I promise you will see much more of these colors along with plenty of sneak peeks of new stamps and accessories to get you as excited as I am about the new products!

  1. Hi Loni: It was fun to put together. Thanks. I only have some of the retired colors to compare directly to. Roughly (and from memory)here are some similar colors “from the past.” Lucky Limeade (Kiwi Kiss), Calypso Coral (Cameo Coral), Island Indigo (Taken by Teal), Pool Party (Cool Carribean or Soft Sky), Wisteria Wonder (Almost Amethyst). Hugs, M

  2. This is fabulous…shared with my downline and customers! I appreciate that you took the time to share with us. Are any of the new in-colors close to past year’s colors?

  3. Thanks for presenting the new colors in a comparison format. It really helps. And also for the assurance about the 12×12 paper. I really love their 12×12 smooth for scrapbooking backgrounds.

  5. Thanks so much Mary! I was a little disappointed with the new colors except for the Wisteria. Now after seeing the shade differences here, I am excited to see them in person. You are such an asset to Stampin’ Up. I love all that you do!

  6. Love how you made the cards for us! So fun! All the colors seem like good names except for Lucky Limeade – this just does not fit with any limeades I have ever had! Oh well, that is just my thinking! Love the comparisons though! Thanks Mary!

  12. Thanks for your comments, gang! Everyone’s computer is going to show these colors a little differently. I think the colors are even more spectacular in “real life.” They coordinate incredibly well with the existing In Colors (Peach Parfait, Poppy Parade, etc.), too. Certain combinations have a modern (almost retro)feel but can quickly adapt for holiday (think Lucky Limeade with Poppy Parade for Christmas)!

I’m working on a birthday card for tomorrow to show them mixed together! Stay Tuned!
