Meet the Stampin’ Up! 2011-2012 In Colors

Stampin up in colors square punch
Meet the new kids on the block . . . the stamping block that is.  Stampin' Up! will be adding 5 new In Colors when they launch the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog on July 1.  How do you like the sound of Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder?

These fresh and hip colors will be available in addition to current In Colors Peach Parfait, Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride and Concord Crush, for a total of 10 In Colors.  I have created simple cards below to illustrate how the new colors compare to existing Stampin' Up! colors. I promise you will see much more of these colors along with plenty of sneak peeks of new stamps and accessories to get you as excited as I am about the new products!

Important clarification regarding the Stampin' Up! PLEASE NOTE that accessories on the last chance list with an asterisk (*) are also being reconfigured.

  1. Hi Loni: It was fun to put together. Thanks. I only have some of the retired colors to compare directly to. Roughly (and from memory)here are some similar colors “from the past.” Lucky Limeade (Kiwi Kiss), Calypso Coral (Cameo Coral), Island Indigo (Taken by Teal), Pool Party (Cool Carribean or Soft Sky), Wisteria Wonder (Almost Amethyst). Hugs, M

  2. This is fabulous…shared with my downline and customers! I appreciate that you took the time to share with us. Are any of the new in-colors close to past year’s colors?

  3. Thanks for presenting the new colors in a comparison format. It really helps. And also for the assurance about the 12×12 paper. I really love their 12×12 smooth for scrapbooking backgrounds.

  4. Thanks for the peek at the new colors with their family colors, I love how you showed these off and some of those colors are so timely in popularity! whooo hooo.

  5. Just had to leave a comment to say that I LOVE these little cards as a way to present the new In Colors! You’ve inspired me to create something similar! Thanks for the inspiration and your fresh designs!

  6. Thanks so much Mary! I was a little disappointed with the new colors except for the Wisteria. Now after seeing the shade differences here, I am excited to see them in person. You are such an asset to Stampin’ Up. I love all that you do!

  7. Love how you made the cards for us! So fun! All the colors seem like good names except for Lucky Limeade – this just does not fit with any limeades I have ever had! Oh well, that is just my thinking! Love the comparisons though! Thanks Mary!

  8. Mary, you are absolutely amazing! Thanks for such a creative intro to the new In Colors! I’ve made my list and am nearly ready for placing my preview order, but to see how you have matched up the new colors has really boosted my enthusiasm so I can’t wait to play with them! You are such a gift to us out here! We love ya!

  9. Thank you for this post. We have to wait another few months in the UK – but it is great to see what is coming. This is a great way of showing the new colors. Thanks again. X

  10. I am so excited about these new in-colours. I wasn’t fond of the last group. Your reveal is beautifully done. Not only the design of your cards, but the photoshoped word. TFS.

  11. Do you know if we’ll be able to buy colour coach cards with the new in colours?

Thanks! LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog!

  12. What a great display to introduce the new colors! Looking forward to wonderful ways of using them ;o)

  13. Mary
Very nice display of the beautiful new colors, thanks for sharing, can’t wait to see what lovely cards you will create with these “cool” names.

  14. Thanks for your comments, gang! Everyone’s computer is going to show these colors a little differently. I think the colors are even more spectacular in “real life.” They coordinate incredibly well with the existing In Colors (Peach Parfait, Poppy Parade, etc.), too. Certain combinations have a modern (almost retro)feel but can quickly adapt for holiday (think Lucky Limeade with Poppy Parade for Christmas)!

I’m working on a birthday card for tomorrow to show them mixed together! Stay Tuned!

  15. Mary – this is so helpful and beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing your talent !! I love coming to this blog everyday !

  16. What a fantastic job you did showing the new colors!! I love the way you made the blocks!

  17. Thanks so much for the display, Mary. As always, it’s beautiful and classy and what a nice way to show the contrasts with the other SU colors.

  18. Mary, you are so inspiring! Wonderful idea, wonderful execution of comparisons! THANK YOU!

  19. What a great idea for introducing the new colors! Thanks so much for sharing! I love what you do!

  20. Mary, What a beautiful example of the new colors. Loving the pool party and the wisteria. Placed my order last night -now seeing them “in person” really has me waiting in anticipation.

  21. What an eye-popping array of the new colors! This is an absolutely beautiful presentation!

  22. Genius! I appreciate your new color wheels here, I was not enjoying the new In Colors and wondered how I would incorporate them in my work! Now it’s clear!

  23. Nice post with the new colors. Thanks. Now I need coordination ideas with the colors and new stamp sets to create some fun looks for my new catalog open house. I’ll be checking back here for inspiration for sure! 🙂
