ALASKAN CRUISE UPDATE: My travel book defines Ketchikan, Alaska as "wilderness nirvana." Well put! It's also the home of the Tlingit tribe and the world's largest totem pole collection. I'll be checking out the historic homes (aka old "red light district") and shopping, too! And the weather? We're not in Tucson, AZ anymore, Dorothy!
Beautiful card Linda! Looks very beautiful Mary! Lucky girl! 🙂 Hugs, J
Impressive! Mary is a tough act to live up to, but this does!!
Mary, Enjoy every minute of your trip. Thanks for leaving us in such good hands!!
What a fun and whimsical card! The colors are fresh and inviting with lots of elements to tease our senses – nice work Linda!
Very cute! I would like to make a card like this! Glad I have everything to do it!
Great card by Linda C.! Love the way she intertwined the baker’s twine with the punches and buttons … very clever! The Alaskan picture is amazing … how quaint that town looks. I hope you’re having a wonderful time on your trip.
I remember one of the towns on the tour (and it might be Ketchikan) where It’s a tradition to yell at anyone and embarrass them, if they jaywalk. I don’t know why I remember that little tidbit, but I do. Alaska is so wonderful….every town has it’s own little special characteristic. The town I liked the best was Talkeetna. It was the town that they patterned Northern Exposure after. Have fun and keep the pictures coming!
This is such a fun card and a great way to showcase the punches, and the bakers twine! Thanks for sharing such a cute idea.
OH MY MS MARY, HOW PRETTY, HAVE LOTS OF FUN!
I WANT TO BE THERE!
CAN’T WAIT TO SEE WHAT THEY GAVE YOU, LUCKY!
HUGS FRENCHIE….
CUTE!
