PPA88 Stampin’ Up! Daisy Box and Card

Stampin up stampin pretty pals paper arts blog
It's time for another Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge (PPA88).  This week, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake and Pear Pizzazz get to hang out together. Woo hoo . . . you should play, too!

Check out the rest of the PPA Design Team's samples PLUS a creation from this week's Celebrity Guest Stamper, Veronica McCollum (the woman with "mad" design skills that created my Stampin' Pretty and the PPA blog designs–even the PPA Color Challenge "gals" below).

PPA 88 DaffodilCrumbPear STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

  • Stampin up stampin pretty blossom petals punch We have friends from out of town staying with us tonight.  I plan to tuck Arizona goodies in the box and will have both the card and box waiting as a special touch in their guest room.
  • I want my cards to fit in envelopes I either have on hand or can make easily.  I rarely make "wonky" sizes for this reason.  When I decided to dangle the big daisy over the edge, I cropped the card base (3 5/8" x 4") so the maximum width including the daisy) was 4", and would still fit in a 4 1/4" square envelope.  Check out my simple tips on making this size envelope with coordinating Stampin' Up! designer series paper.
  • The Bigz XL Die is such a delight to assemble. Only needs adhesive in one spot.  An Extended Premium Crease Pad (used in place of the top Extended Cutting Pad) ensures that you get clean scores without "cut through."
