Simple Saturday With Elizabeth & WOW Video

Stampin up elizabeth just believe thank you card video tutorial
When it comes to card making, I believe "simple" means quick, easy and a minimal amount of supplies.  Single stamps from Stampin' Up! fit that description and are budget friendly, too.  The Elizabeth single stamp ($9.95) is nothing short of stunning and can define a card in seconds.  Just add a sentiment and go!

Stampin up elizabeth thank you card video Now about adding that sentiment . . . I love the benefits of Stampin' Up! clear-mount stamps.  They make image placement so much easier.  However, the area for the sentiment on the  Elizabeth stamp is a bit tight for lining up quickly.  I don't trust myself "eyeballing" it–even with my reading glasses.  Plus, let's face, it don't have the patience for a Stamp-a-ma-jig on a quick card.

Today's 1 Minute to WOW Video Tutorial shares a simple way to add a variety of sentiments and get a clean and classy look–without the work!  UPDATE:  I flipped the video so the card is right side up!

  1. Another “Wow” from you, Mary! I had decided to buy the Elizabeth stamp but then decided my wish list was too long. I wondered if I would use it often enough. So, I opted not to buy it. But now I have decided I will earn it this month during SAB. I am a fairly new demonstrator and hope that my demonstrations make Stampin’ Up!’s products so versatile and eye-catching as yours do! I love the touch of “wow” that the stamp gives to the envelope.

  3. Mary, this is a fantastic card! I love the little details on it and I think this will be one of my favorite! I don’t like taking the time to use the thing-a-ma-jig or whatever it is and don’t have one. But, the oval with the scalloped oval adds just a bit of color that I think really makes the card! Another duh moment! Thanks for the idea of just popping it up too using the word window punch. So many possibilities. Plus, the little stamped corner on the envelope is the perfect touch! Thanks for making my day, Mary. Oh, I love your photos of your new cat yesterday – I would love to see the mauve paws! Thanks for sharing your talent with us!

  5. I love your tutorials and the cards was super cute. I have the Elizabeth stamp and haven’t used oval punches, but not the word window. I agree with others that it would be great if you could turn the card around so we have a view from “our side” of the card and your work.

  9. You should do a One minute wow video using the Stamp- A- Ma-jig. It does make stamping faster for me and saves alot of card stock because you never make a mistake! So that means in these penny pinching days it saves money too! And if It takes one extra minute to get it out, it is worth every penny and minute for a beautiful card!I love it when people say how did you get that so centered. Also I have found the more I used it the faster you get using it. I just love that Elizabeth Stamp! Looks super fancy even though it is so One Minute simple! Good job Mary!
