Are you ready to play this week's Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge (PPA85)? Margaret Moody (one of my Stampin' Pretty Pals) offers us a classic sketch . . . perfect for any occasion. Be sure to give it a try and check out the PPA Design Team's samples HERE.
- This card needed a masculine vibe to send to my 30-something nephew for his birthday.
- Keep adhesive for the transparent vellum out of sight. Bend the vellum and adhere underneath the left side with a Mini Glue Dot and secure the right side with another glue dot hidden below the circle punches.
- A skinny strip of Basic Black card stock adds a clean finish below the sentiment.
- Another skinny strip of card stock, in Pear Pizzaz, looks like a stitch on the button.

I am so amazed at your creativity and your use of so many different products on a card. You are a true inspiration. By the way, my favorite item ton use is ribbon. I am so in love with all of the stampin up ribbon. My friends say I am a ribbon junkie.

Mary: Your nephew is going to flip-out over his card. It’s a very masculine cards yet still has that lovely “Mary Look” to it. LOVE all your tips today-especially the tip on using a thin piece of CS to take the look of thread for your button-WOW! Thanks for sharing another fabulous post with us Mary!

Very cool and masculine…great card!
I am always amazed at how you can make black ink work as your focal point perfectly! That is one ink color that I stay away from, unless it is an image to color. Love your card Mary!
