My Current Facebook Topic: A Not So Sticky Situation. I recently began having problems with my Stampin' Up! clear mount stamps not sticking to the blocks. However, after cleaning the blocks with a mix of Dawn dish washing detergent and water, they were squeaky clean and the stamps were clinging with perfection.

Mary, I clean my clear blocks with my stampin’ Mist and then run under hot water and dry well. Has always worked. I may try your technique too. TFS
P.S. I like the idea of poster tape for parties, when we reuse a stamp with the stampamajig. Love your site:-)
I put my acrylic blocks through the dishwasher. They come out like new. I stick my stamps onto the blocks with Poster Tape. You can reuse the tape – just keep it stuck to the block. You can peel your stamps off of the tape and then re-stick another stamp onto the block. Poster Tape comes in a roll dispenser like Scotch Tape.
Wow! I had the same problem just this weekend. I got frustrated and ripped off the clear sticker so the foam would stick to the block. I guess I will try your trick before I get rid of the rest of the clear stickers.
hi this sneak peak is cute would you please tell me what that polka dot label stamp is called? thanks
The idea suggested in this video from my upline’s upline has been working for me-putting a bit of tombow on the stamps.
I have tried many methods for cleaning my acrylic blocks. The best one yet is to scrub with the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Sponge. This sponge is truly magic, as it gets all the ink stains off of my formica work surface–stains that wouldn’t budge with 409 or anything else.
Ohhh, love that bunny paper, can’t wait to find out about it and see the whole card.
Hi, Mary! Fabulous peek! I wash my blocks all the time with Dawn! Also, I huff before attaching the stamp. I learned this from Brady the trumpeter…he huffs on his mute before using it!
My eye doctor told me to soak my gas permeable contact lenses overnight in a solution of dawn dishwashing soap and water. What a clever idea to wash our blocks in it too!!! Thank you for such a great tip. I so enjoy your blog. You do such a great job every day.
I will certainly try this as I have been having the same problem. Also some of the stamps are curling up and it is real difficult to make them stick.
I have been having this problem also, Thank you for the tip…will give that a try!
Mary: Your ears must have been burning last night as this very topic of (sometimes) our clear mount stamps not staying stuck to our arcylic blocks. Many of the SW Stamper Ladies had this issue and weren’t sure how to correct the situation. Going to give this tip of your a try. Thanks for sharing! Kadie
