  177. Ribbon! Ribbon! Ribbon! And, of course, rhinestones!
Love your blog, Mary – keep it comin’ πŸ™‚

  178. I don’t know if this counts as an embellishment, but I absolutely adore the Big Shot’s Top Note. I find myself using it again and again – both on the front and inside cards. Thanks for the chance to win!

  179. For sure it would be a tie between ribbon and pearls. That would be followed by lace, ric rac and buttons. But then I like brads and eyelits. Oh and Glitter is fun too…………..

  180. I, too, am in love with the pearls, but I also love the rhinestones. They both can give a card that added extra touch!

  181. Although I love all the embellishments, my very favorite are pearls. Was so excited when SU! started offering them.

  182. I just love using the pearls when I’m making flowers or using them with tags of any kind:)

  183. I love these accents. They really add to the beauty of my cards. Thanks for the chance . Ais

  184. My favorite embellishment is definitely the pearls. I love that you can change the color to match any card!

  185. I love all embellishments, but I almost always use ribbon in all of my projects; brads and rinestones are a close second though. Thanks again for the chance to win such a great prize.

  186. Ribbon- hands down! It adds texture, depth, and has a wow factor that dresses up even the simplest card! Ooh la la!

  187. The 3/8 tafetta ribbon for sure. I’m so glad they keep adding new colors. Razzelberry and Marina Mist are probably my favorites, but I love the subtle hue of all of them …

  188. WOW! What can I say. I love SU embellishments, too. Just about every card has to have some kind of extra thing on it to make it stand out. I think my favorites are the brads. I use them all the time. Either the brads or the little faux pearls and diamonds. Love them!!

  189. I love ribbon and rhinestones, although I tend to hoard my ribbon cause I don’t want to use it up! haha

  190. I love using ribbon. When I make a card that does not have it, I seem to always wonder what is missing. Love your blog and can’t wait to look and see what is new each day!!

  191. I have now become a fan of any “bling” in the form of pearls and jewels. With 3 young boys at home, I haven’t let my “girly” side show as much, but that’s changing with the bling!

  192. I like to use jewels on my cards. It’s all I need to feel the card is complete, and it is small and sutle, but perfect whether you use 1, 2 or 3. Next is ribbon and then brads.

  193. I would have to say that my favorite embellishment is RIBBON. It just adds so much to a card OR project.
    Susan B.

  194. Ribbon, ribbon, ribbon because it can add a special touch in so many different ways…flat, straight across the card, with a bow or my favorite…a knotted “bow”.

  195. I too, love the pearls! So elegant…
    Thank you for the chance!

  196. I’m with you, I love the Pearls, and also love your site………Great Ideas. Maralee

  197. I would have to say mine is ribbon!! I LOVE ribbon πŸ™‚

  198. I love ribbons on cards and the new seam binding ribbons are so pretty. Thanks for a chance to win. When I CAS your cards, I get lots of “WOWs”. Love your blog!

  199. Boy, that is a hard one, but I really do love pearls on me and on my cards. Thank you for all your inspirations.
    Teri in So CA

  200. I would have to say pearls right now. everything just seems to look more “put together” with pearls added. Brads are great also.

  201. Ribbon would have to be my favorite embellishment!! I rarely make a card without it. I think brads and buttons would be my 2nd and 3rd place choice!

  202. I love ribbon. I can hardly make a card with out ribbon on it somewhere. Thanks for the chance to win.

  203. Pick one embellishment…hmmmm! I use so many and different ones at that…ribbon almost always but I’ve never used the Accents and Elements Fleurttes and would love to win those! (especially since now they are retired and no longer available.!!!)

  204. Champagne Glitter! It adds just the right amount of glitz and glamour without going over the top.

  205. Buttons! Buttons! Buttons! I just love the way buttons can be classy, playful, or simple.

  206. My absolute must have on every card is ribbon. I love the texture it adds. I love the patterns and variety it adds as well. And, any leftover – looks great in my daughters hair!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful ideas Mary!

  207. My Favourite embellishment right now is the pearls. I just find them so easy to use and they look so elegant!

  208. Hi Mary!

I love to use ribbon as an embellishment. It really finishes off a card nicely.

Thanks for another Blog Candy chance.

    Kathy :0D

  209. Oh to choose one favorite embellishment is not too easy to do as Stampin’ Up! has so many wonder ones; however, if I have to I would say it is the dazzling diamonds….. Good luck to everyone who is entering this blog contest…..

  210. My favorites are the rhinestones!!! No matter what work you do, you can always add that eye catching spark to your cards with the rhinestones!!!

  211. I love the ribbon and how the colors coordinate with the other Stampin Up products. Anything bling comes next. Love your blog, Mary!

  212. Love them all- but it’s gotta be the pearls. I Guess I’m just a June Cleaver kinda gal!Close second is the shimmer paints added to alcohol and sprayed… LOVE the effect…

  213. I think these days The Glimmer Brads have my vote! I do a lot with Flowers and Butterflys, and I get pretty excited by that extra punch to my designs with the gorgeous sparkle that matches my paper colors! SU rocks the industry with coordinating products!

  214. My favorite embellishment is pearls, for sure. I love checking your blog everday and thanks for the chance to win!

  215. Hi Mary! My favorite embellishment is ribbon hands down! But there definitely so many things to choose from buttons, brads, rhinestones, pearls I love them all!

  218. I’m all about the bling. Love to embellish my cards with rhinestones, they make everything pop.

  219. Hi Mary, I enjoy your blog and really appreciate the projects and pearls of wisdom you share with us. My favorite embellishment is ribbon followed closely by pearls.
Thanks for the opportunity to win the yummy “candy”.
    Terri D.

  220. It’s a toss up between buttons and ribbon for me. Currently, buttons are winning! Thanks so much for offering the candy. Looks like some great items.

  221. Buttons! Glitter!! Flock!!! Rhinestones!!!! OMG it is hard to choose!! Love them all!

  222. Have to say, it’s gotta be bling! Jewels, Pearls, or even pearlescent spray or paint!

  223. I don’t know which embellishment I use more, ribbon, pearls, or rhinestones. I use others, but those three the most.

  224. Pearls and rhinestones are my favorite embellishment. I would say ribbon as well. Heck, I love it all.

    Ha! Have a great day!

    Vicki A. of Glendale, AZ.

  226. BLING! What’s a card without some “BLING”!!? Stampin’ Up!’s Rhinestones are sooooo amazingly awesome!!

  227. Oooooh! I love the rhinestones and the pearls. But I did just get the subtles buttons…they are running a close second! Thanks for the chance to win!

  228. I’d have to say it is a tie between glitter and ribbon. Either of these can do so much for a card. Thanks for offering blog candy!

    Kathy N.

  229. I don’t know why, but eyelets have always been my favorite embellishment. I once made a card with 21 eyelets on it! I think it’s the way they squish a little when you set them with a hole punch. I love the way you often add a row of 2 or 3 eyelets to your cards, Mary. So pretty! I also love ribbon and I’ve been dying to try the pearls. Thanks for the chance at candy. Love your blog.

  230. I LOVE glitter! I’m always disappointed when I make a card and can’t find a good way to add a little glitter!

  231. I love to use ribbon, but inherited a lot from my Mom’s craft collection which I felt I needed to use. So haven’t bought much of the SU ribbon. Would love to have some to use as a coordinating embellishment. Thanks for offer.

  232. Pearls is the BEST thing Stampin Up has. I just can’t get enough enough pearls. I try to put them on everything.

  233. Hi Mary! Hard to pick just one, but I would have to say ribbon is my favorite! Thanks for the chance to win.

    Julie L.

  234. There’s no way to pick just one but the 2 I use the most are ribbon and brads – SU has colors of both to go with everything and they both can take a card from good to GREAT!

  235. It is the rhinestone or pearls that I use on almost every card I make. It adds the perfect touch. Thanks for the chance.

  236. Ribbon! I LOVE ribbon! Almost all my cards seem to have ribbon somewhere on them. I’d love to win your blog candy; thanks for the chance…[btw, if I do win, give me a little break on the 24 hour thing as your blog always arrives 1 day late; don’t know why].

  237. My favorite embellishment is ribbon. My second favorite are the pearls. They both are so simple to use and really “class” up a card. Thanks for the opportunity to win some blog candy and for all of your wonderful projects that you share with us.
    Connie Z.

  238. Ribbon for me is a must! BUT I also like to make my own embellishments with all my punches. Hearts, two step owl,two step bird, tags and flowers….the list goes on! Great for doing ahead of time and adding to scrapbooking later..love to use them for journaling space. Love, love, love your site!

  239. Any embellishment is fun to add but I’d have to say that ribbon is my favorite. It’s the final thing that pulls everything together! A patterned ribbon let’s you play with putting crazy colors together, a solid satin or sheer can add instant elegance. SO many options to give your card that finished ‘pop’!

Thanks so much for all your ideas! Your talent continues to amaze and inspire me!! When I get excited to spot an ‘idea’ from one of your creations I always wonder what inspires you?!

  248. I’d have to say the pearls are my favorite, they can totally change the whole look and feel of a card. Mary

  249. My fave embellie?
    Ribbon, Glitter or Embossing.
Like with my kids, too tough to play faves.

  250. Hi Mary! I use both ribbons and buttons on my creations. It’s a toss between the two! Love all the beautiful colors.

  251. My favorite embellishment to date is the Perfect Pearls. I don’t care what the theme of any card I’m making is, I find a place to use them. Even my Halloween cards had them as eyes on the little ghosts. Absolutely wonderful and the best part – they actually stick and don’t fall off.

  252. I would have to say the pearls are my favorite because that’s mostly all I’ve ever used…but I’m learning to incorporate more embelishments to my cards…I’ve learned it just adds that special little touch. Thanks for the chance to win!!

  256. The embellshment I use most is definitley ribbon, but the pearls are my true favorite. (That’s why I’m always out of them.) They add an elegance to every card.

  257. I used to just have to have all the ribbon because I love how it finished off a card. Now, I’ve moved past that. πŸ™‚ I’m loving the pearls and the rhinestones!!
Thanks for offering such awesome blog candy!!
    tionyalynn at yahoo dot com

  279. My favorite embellishment is buttons, they give dimension and you can create using the buttons, i.e. flowers, stems, etc. Love em!

  280. Pearls…brads…buttons…it’s a tough choice, but I think my favorite embellishment must be ribbon!

Oh and I love the new Windowpanes but am still figuring out how to use them.

Thanks Mary for continuing to inspire us and show us lots of wonderful ways to use the bounty of the SU catalog.

  344. I never use to “embellish” but over the years I have LOVED seeing cards that were – now my “favorite” are the many different “buttons” SU has to offer. I use them on everything – even my clothes!

  345. Hi Mary! I think what I use the most is ribbon on almost every card make BUT I love those pearls too! I find myself using them a lot as well! Thank you for being so generous and for the chance to win! I truly appreciate all you do for us on your blog! Your cards are always so beautiful! Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent everyday!

  346. Ribbon is my favorite go to embellishment because you can do so many different things with it. Thanks for the chance to win!

  347. I was thrilled to see our half-back adhesive Rhinestone and Pearl jewels this year – I can hardly make a card without them:) I find it easiest to use my paper piercing tool to get them off of their paper backing (and if I want to cut the “strips” of jewels, I just use my hobby blade to cut them apart first!)

  348. My favorite card embellishment is ribbon, especially the Stampin’ Up! satin and taffeta ribbons. I love how they look on a finished card. Thank you for the blog candy opportunity!

  349. My favorite embellishment is ….. glitter — I’m known as the glitter queen around my stamp friends –Ha!! I like to use it to highlight, outline, and fill in certain images — I love the transparent glitters, rather than the opaque ones. Well, there you have it. Hope mine gets picked. I stumbled onto your blog and just absolutely LOVE it. Hugs, Syl xxxooo

  350. My absolute favorite embellishment is RIBBON!!! I find it difficult to make a card without using it, and I can vary the “type” of ribbon based on the true feeling of the card.

Thanks for a chance to win!!! LOVE your blog and your creations!!! :o)
