  • Stampin up pals paper arts bright christmas Bright Christmas is a sentiment staple for the holidays.  Using the clear-mount version, I was able to "eyeball" it and stamp right where I needed it.  No Stamp-a-ma-jig required.
  • The Stampin' Up! 1 3/8" Square Punch brought the "merry and bright" background to life!
  • This 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" square card has met it's match.  Stampin' Up! offers Whisper White 5 1/2" Square Envelopes (107289) for a coordinated mode of delivery.
  • Why not throw "daffodil" in with the traditional mix of colors?  I was inspired by this holiday look from West Elm catalog.

  2. Happy Thanksgiving Mary!

I love the simplicity of this card. Easy to make, but packs a punch (no pun intended!). The black is a really good contrast to the softer colors. Love that bird too!

  3. I am usually not a big fan of the non traditional Christmas colors but I really love this color combo. Maybe because the yellow represents gold for me. Anyways, a very clean, contemporary and beautiful Christmas card. Happy Thanksgiving!

  5. Hi Mary – I’m surprised how refreshing this card is. At first it seemed a little to “modern” to me, but the color combination is really appealing — like when purple was added to the traditional black and orange Halloween scheme! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving…gobble gobble!

  6. Love the colors you chose! It also reminds me of the Partridge family bus … one of my all time favorite shows when I was a child! Great card and Happy Thanksgiving!
