STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

  • Stampin up pals paper arts word play holiday card The Stampin' Up! 1 1/4" Square Punch proved cooperative in popping out the teacups for a fun holiday pattern.
  • You had me at "hello?"  The Tiny Teacup single stamp also includes a "hello" sentiment.  Some crafty stampers will slice a stamp in two to isolate the sentiment from the image.  However, I'm a little squeamish about that type of "surgery" so prefer to use my markers and color only the cup.
  • I loved the idea of the cups combined with the "Comfort & Joy" sentiment (Word Play stamp set).  I stamped "o" a second time on Real Red and snipped it out.  It was then layered on a 1/2" Circle in Textured Garden Green.  Really adds "wow!"
  • Inspiration is abundant with all the holiday catalogs arriving in the mail.  The mug below (Crate  & Barrel) got me thinking about the teacups.
