PPA67 Color Challenge

Stampin up pals paper arts movers and shapers
The PPA fashion mavens below are strutting their stuff in Daffodil Delight, Basic Gray and Poppy Parade.  I'm really digging this combination and whipped up this Movers and Shapers card (love the curly label window, no?) for a little guy with a November birthday.

Click to see the design team inspiration samples plus a gorgeous card by our celebrity guest stamper, Silke Ledlow.  We're so proud to have Silke join this week's challenge.  Are you ready to play, too?

PPA 67 Celebrity Color Challenge Nov 4 2010 The side shot of this card shows the serious "cool factor" created by the Stampin' Up! Movers & Shapers die base and curly label die.

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

  • SDC15129-2 The Stampin' Up! Movers & Shapers Die Base cuts and scores a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base PLUS, add a window in your choice of location.  To learn more, check out my Movers & Shapers Video Tutorial.
  • I ran the Daffodil Delight Stripe Designer Series Paper thru the Big Shot with the Movers & Shapers Curly Label Die on a second trip–then adhered on top of the card base.
  • The peek-a-boo effect of the window is delightful.  I played up the dot of the "i" of the "wish BIG" sentiment (Word Play stamp set) with a star stamp from Itty Bitty Bits.  A tiny piece of Stampin' Dimensional gives it added oomph.
  • Mini Glue Dots offer ?ber strong hold for buttons.  Each button is "threaded" with a skinny strip of Poppy Parade card stock.

STAY TUNED!  They have been a big hit!  Tomorrow I'll reveal the details for my newest on-line workshop and class–Jolly Holiday.  Participants will have access to three full-length video demonstrations plus a bonus luminaria tutorial.  Stampin' Up! Demonstrators welcome.

Here's what Sue C. had to say about my Deck the Halls On-Line Workshop and Class (still available):

"Just a note to say thank you for the lessons, I think they are wonderful . . .will there be more lessons for Nov and Dec?"
