I'm seriously excited to go full steam with holiday tips and projects over the next few weeks on my Stampin' Pretty blog.  If you want a bigger dose, be sure to check out my popular on-line holiday workshop and class options at the end of this post.

Please keep them coming!  I have learned many little tips and great ideas from both of your video series–Nancy R.

Stampin up mojo monday contempo christmas modern label punch STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

  • Sponging in River Rock and Rich Razzleberry adds dimension and a vintage look.  The embossed texture really pops.
  • For a little polish, I punched just a sliver of the Modern Label Punch in Rich Razzleberry and layered it on the sentiment.
  • Layering punches take the sentiment for simple to WOW!

TOUCH OF CLASS:  Watch, repeat and rewind 24/7!  Join me for my full-length video demonstrations of the following holiday projects.  Available as on-line workshops or individual classes.  Demonstrators welcome, too!

  2. Thanks for the video and the tip about using that punch. I am a needleworker and probably the only one who told Ann she should cross all her stitches the same way! She had a fantastic card one day and there were these stitches going both ways. My eye was drawn to that. Since then, we have been friends and E-mail a lot! The colors on this card was just plain amazing. I have a friend who wants purple and I think maybe this might be a good color combination! Plus, how did I miss that sentiment in that stamp set!?! Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us!

  3. Mary, I am loving this card (the color, design, embossing, everything about it). Now I wish I hadn’t made my Christmas cards so early. ;( Is it too early to work on 2011 Christmas cards ? LOL. Your tutorial was wonderful as always. Thanks for rocking my world. Until next time, ((Hugs) Becky

  5. What a cute take on the stitching craze! I used to sew a lot (imagine leisure suits?), seriously, now I don’t even own a sewing machine and am happy about that, but I love the look, too! What a great way to combine crafts. Thanks.

  6. Very attractive card, love the color combination. Thanks too for the great “cross-stitch” video I’m a visual person so it really helps to see someone else actually do the stitching.
