  170. My favorite candy is a toss up between the little round hard candy with the raspberry filling and the other is something called sponge candy or angel kiss candy. That is very hard to find now. The inside looks sort of like a sponge and it has a chocolate coating. It is hard though. I had found a recipe when I was in high school and thought I would try and make it. I think I was barred from the kitchen for awhile after that! It has baking soda and vinegar and it foamed up and over the pan on the burners and then harded on there before I could get it wiped up!

  186. What great blog candy to go with your fabulous blog!! My favorite holiday candy is my mom’s fudge. I just can’t get enough of it! She cuts in this little small sqaures because it’s so sweet and creamy which only makes me feel super guilty when I eat 6 or 7 squares to make one “serving” lol

Imagine, an orange in the middle of winter. LOL I’m showing my age.

  440. There are just so many to choose from, but my favorite holiday candy has to be fudge. I know it’s around all year long, but I just let myself have it at Christmas time. Thanks for offering the blog candy and for your wonderful creativity each and every day.

  441. Awww I live in Canada and follow your everyday! No blog candy for me!! :0(
My favourite holiday candy is good ‘ole jubes!

  442. My favorite would be a Lifesaver Storybook. Santa always put one in my stocking when I was little!

  443. Gotta love the homemade peanut brittle that makes the rounds in our circle of family and friends this time of year — it doesn’t sound like holiday candy, but we make and give away so much of it (and can you imagine EAT?) that it’s known as “Christmas Crack”!!! Love your blog and the chance for some non-caloric “candy”!

  444. Ummm, your Blog Candy looks delicious!! My favorite edible Christmas Candy would be my sister’s No-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Drops. She only makes them at Christmas and my children (all over the age of 30!) and I look forward to eating it every year.

  445. Homemade caramels. Totally sinful! Kudos to you again Mary for such creativity and sharing.

  446. Oh how I love this time of year. I love to bake. My favorite is fudge. This is the only time of the year that I make it. I make about 20 pounds of it and give it as gifts. (And I do keep a stash for myself.)

  448. Pepermint stick sounds good, but I love the old fashioned ribbon Christmas candy. Not only does it taste good, but it brings back warm childhood memories.

  449. I absolutely love the peppermint stick M&M’s. They are sooooo good! I also really love rice crispy treats….technically they aren’t really a holiday candy, but in my house they are a must have Christmas treat!

  450. You have the best web page I have seen and I drop by daily. Favorite holiday candy, fudge and of course any candy blog. Thanks for your wonderful cards.

  451. It’s so hard to choose just one favorite Christmas candy. I love both homemade divinity and peanut butter fudge. Thanks so much for having such a fantastic blog!

  452. My favorite is the hard Christmas candy!!!

Wishing everyone a Happy Holiday Season!!!

  453. Hi Mary, My favorite holiday candy is called Buckeyes–peanut butter with chocolate. Delicious and fun to make. They look just like a buckeye–the fruit of the horse chestnut family.
Thanks for your endless hard work!

  454. I love the old fashioned Divinity that my Mom and Grandmother used to make. White and fluffy, looks like clouds.
    I enjoy your site. Thankyou!

  455. My favorite holiday candy is old fashion rock candy lollipops! We use to get them in our stockings as kids and it reminds me of the “good old days”!

  456. My favorite is homemade peanut brittle or toffee, yummy. Thanks for the chance to win some great candy!

  457. It’s not really holiday candy but anytime candy. I totally love reeses cups. They are my weakness.

  458. My favorite holiday candy is chocolate grahams. I know they are available year round but I always get a Christmas tin of these so I think of them as holiday. : ) Thank you for the blog candy drawing!

  459. I love the good old candy cane. Crossing my fingers to win the blog candy… would love to have all that awesome stuff.

  460. Oh, I agree with a previous commenter who said BLOG CANDY is her favorite candy! (I suppose that has the potential to be available all year)

Actually, I go crazy for Hersheyettes (like M&Ms, only made by Hershey) that are available here at Christmas time. Can’t go in to Target without getting a tube (topped by candy cane curve piece) between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

  461. Mary: Would it be Christmas without fudge? I love all the different types of fudge and honestly-about the only time I eat it…..Is at Christmas time (lucky me!).

Hope you enjoy the holdiays in sunny Arizona-Life is Good!

  462. Homemade anise candy canes..There is a candy store in my Oshkosh WI that only makes these at Christmas time. Can’t wait to go and get mine.
    Merry Christmas

  463. So many of the various manufacturers add dark chocolate or mint flavors to their line up this time of year and almost any of those get my vote. On the other hand Harry & David put out some of their most scrumptious treats this time of year – truffles, Moose Munch and more…impossible to pass up. Now if only the Girl Scouts would sell Thin Mints at Christmas my Christmas Candy Dreams would be complete…Thin Mints really don’t count as cookies do they?

Oh my just thinking about all those goodies I’m going to have to fast for a few days…luckily your sweet goodness here on your blog is fat free, guilt free and 100% inspirational. Now if only you could figure out how I can burn calories just surfing your pages – LOL!

Hugs and Holiday Blessings and thanks for the Sweet offering – Jean
