Simple Saturday for Austin

Stampin up word play birthday card boy
I needed a lively birthday card (and still plenty "grown up") for my grandnephew, Austin.  The simple and bold colors and pattern of this card should do the trick!

  • Stampin up word play birthday card star punch I previously made a similar card (click here).  The job was even quicker this time with the use of two Stampin' Up! large circle punches (2 1/2" and 1 3/4")
  • Basic Gray, Real Red and Pumpkin Pie.  The Stampin' Up! Color Coach directed me to this modern and masculine color scheme (under Basic Gray combinations).  The "coach" is one of my best creative buddies.
  • DID YOU KNOW that unless otherwise noted, my cards (including this one) are sized to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"?
