Simple Saturday: Autumn Spice Is Nice

Stampin up autumn spice designer series card 4
Stampin' Up! Autumn Spice Specialty Designer Series Paper (120808) from the Holiday Mini Catalog is incredibly "nice" for a variety of fall projects (and beyond).  It coordinates with the Day of Gratitude stamp set (WM 120835, CM 121148), one of my favorites in the catty) and it's heavier "specialty" weight adds substance to 3-D projects.

I played with the coordinating Autumn Spice patterns to create today's Simple Saturday cards in a jiffy.  The top card and card below were created using the Perfect Punches Stamp Set (WM 117022, CM 120516).  Each stamp coordinates with a punch for quick and easy cards.

Stampin up autumn spice designer series card 2 The card below gets a punched tag and a simple sentiment from Fabulous Phrases stamp set (WM 117002, CM120501).

Popped from Cajun Craze card stock, a daisy transitions to a fall palette.  My daisy was created with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439) and Daisies #2 Flower Bigz Die (114520):

  1. Hi Mary – This Autumn Spice is new to us in Australia in the Autumn Winter Mini – and your collection of cards is just scrumptious! This top fold style card is my favourite but my Mum keeps complaining that they won’t stand up and keep spreading out and falling flat. Do you have any tips on keeping them standing?
    Thanks,
    Jan.

  2. Mary, these cards are absolutely the best! I have the paper but not the Day of Gratitude stamp set as I will get if free at the Portland OR regionals in a few weeks. Your cards today re-affirms that you don’t have to have stamp set that match the paper! I’m always inspired by the versatility you show in your creations. Thanks for sharing your talent!
